Little Miss Sunshine had a real cool symphonic meets indie rock thing going on.

First Push

And The Winner Is

Soundtrack, too because maybe the best use of Super Freak ever.

My 2 favorite scores of all time are probably Conan and The Mission.

This guy gets it. He is correct.

The Mission.

The score is extra important in The Mission because music is how the main character initially introduces himself to the tribe. The score is actually as important as a main character in this one.

As far as "traditional" motion picture scores go, I'm kind of partial to Klaus Badelt's work in the first Pirates of the Caribbean film.

Last of the Mohicans is a good nomination.

BUT The Fountain is both a criminally underrated soundtrack and film.

Publicly, Gattaca didn’t do much at the box office. But the movie score was fantastic.

Broken Arrow

Underrated Hans Zimmer score, 90s action movies were the best.

One Clint Mansell movie not listed yet is Smokin' Aces. Several good tracks there.

Also John Murphy in Sunshine

I've always loved Risky Business' soundtrack by Tangerine Dream. Perfect fit for the cinematography of that movie.
