Looks like no new James Bond movie for a while….

With only two movies….that were very lackluster….in over a decade, they're running the risk of losing a generation of fans for Bond.

This shouldn’t be hard. James Bond gets a mission, he trots around the globe, he does spy stuff, saves the world, and gets the girl.

Yeah i have no idea.
i think they need to pull back on the dark and gritty tone, make it a little more fanciful (not a lot) and make the movies more stand alone.
Big stakes, cool cars, cool gadgets, hot chicks.

Casino Royale was one of the best ever, if not the best Bond movie. They had a great Bond in Daniel Craig. Popularity was an all time high.

It's hard for Hollywood to do movies they can't drop in lots of feminization and feminist themes.

Then don't make a Bond movie. That's who Bond is.
He's a good looking, misogynistic, badass spy that wears nice suits, drives cool cars, sleeps with hot women, and kills bad guys trying to control the world. That's the character Ian Fleming created. If you don't want to make a movie about that character, make a movie about a different character.

100% agree. It’s an amazing movie with a great plot. Instead of building on that movie they became a slave to it. The rest of Craig’s Bond movies were about “Bond dealing with his demons” and pointless fan service. Hell, he went “rogue” in pretty much every movie.

What's funny is the MI movies and even the Fast franchise have shown you can make a Bond-style movie without that Bond-ness, even.
I know Ethan Hunt has some love interests, but he's asexual for 99% of the movies after 3 and a million miles away from misogynistic, and those movies print money.

Nobody is really asking for James Bond from Dr No.
But Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan's Bonds weren't really problematic at all.

Early bond he definitely is and that’s ok. I don’t mind it
