I thought the writers said this season would have no flashbacks or flashforwards, but something new we haven't seen before (which obviously is the alt timeline). Am I mistaken or do you think they were just making too broad of a statement and will do some FBs when necessary?

Matthew Fox said that, but Damon and Carlton confirmed that we are getting a Richard Alpert flashback episode. Plus Matthew only knows things relevant to his character. Plus we have to be getting an MIB flashback as well.

not sure if anyone has made this thoery but do you think sundown could simply mean that darkness or MIB or Locke is going to settle on the temple and the light or jacob is leaving.

My thoughts:
In NO WAY is Sun going to die in tonight's episode.
All of the episodes we've seen this season have taken place over a day, and the day is ending, thus the sun is going down.
I also believe that MIB and gang will make their move to the Temple tonight.

Someone's gonna die soon, but I'd assume there is a Sun/Jin centric episode. I doubt they would kill her before then.

THEORY ALERT:
The MIB can shapeshift to any dead person's body on the island who is not buried.
Jacob can make people see visions and dreams to affect a person.
Once John Locke was buried, the MIB was "trapped" in his form.
This would explain the different versions of Christian etc...
Just thought I would give a refresher...

They didn't have time to bury her, but I would like to think that the Others came back for her and buried her, even though it is unconfirmed. I think Ben would be quite horrified to go back to the Barracks and see a half decayed Alex lying there. Either she was buried, or a bear or a boar got after her.

Actually, they never showed Alex being buried before the MIB shifted into her. Also, when the bodies were found later, they were in shallow graves with their faces exposed.

I personally think he is trapped because that was the form he was in when Jacob was killed.
