Pattinson is an awesome Batman, didn't love him as Wayne, but that could be a product of the script or director.

Overall, my second favorite Batman movie behind Begins.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but they need to just stop milking the Batman franchise at this point. Burton and Nolan’s trilogies were legendary and nothing will top them

Hopefully they recast Catwoman as someone attractive.

They could’ve delayed it to coincide more with The Penguin series.

Eh. It kind of sucked, honestly.

It was dark. Pattinson was moody. There was zero humor, charm, romance, intrigue or any of the other elements that have buoyed other Batman franchises. It was just dark and moody... like most everything else, these days.

He's been done to death because there are virtually unlimited interpretations and new pathways you can take the character and still remain pretty true to the source material. He's the perfect comic book character for that reason. You can amp up his powers or nerf him as you like, depending the tale you're telling. You can focus on his humanity or his lack of humanity. It's endless. Outside of Batman and Robin from the 90s (and not counting the 60s version), he's been a great character in almost every movie he's been in, even the movies that were sort of shitty otherwise like Batman Forever or Batman v Superman.

I'll take ten new Batman interpretations over another Superman. Superman = God. Ok, got it.

I agree and I also think the simple fact he is mortal and possesses no super powers makes him a much more palatable comic book hero to the masses. My wife will watch a Batman story 100x before a story about a some hero with super powers.

A lot of people didn't but it was an intentional choice.

He's learning how to be Batman (who he really is) but has zero clue how to be Bruce Wayne (the actual mask).

Yeah its fairly obvious.

Also, I was THRILLED that they finally made Batman a detective on screen.

I may need to watch it again. People seem to like it, but I was bored, and I thought the ending was kind of dumb.
