There is an older and even better one.

No, there actually isn’t.
In order:
DS9
TNG
Voy
TOS
ENT

The rest
VOY and TNG are pretty close. Voy has less bad episodes than TNG, but TNG has many all time great ST episodes, VOY not so much.

Have you seen Star Trek Continues on YouTube? If not, you really need to check it out. They have a lot of videos but the actual episodes are easy to pick out. Timeline is between the end of season 3 and the start of ST:TMP. Very well done with the sets perfectly reproduced (be sure to watch the set walkthrough video).

Guest stars included Lou Ferrigno, Marina Sirtis, John Delancy, and Michael Forest reprising his role as Apollo.

I can't stand Discovery but i enjoy Strange New Worlds. It feels like Trek. But they try some oddball stuff like the musical episode.

Season 3 Picard was great fan service. Skip the first two seasons. Forget that Picard is now an android and just watch the 3rd season. The finale with the Enterprise D flying around the Borg Cube is incredible.

You mean the new trek that came out in 1987?
.
Picard is 10x the captain that Kirk was.

Except Checkov wasnt in Space Seed so Khan shouldn't have known who he was.
Continuity error that messed with trekkies.

Star Trek V

I have have warmed to this movie over the years. I didn't really care much about it when it came out, but I appreciate it more now. The scenes with Kirk, Spock and McCoy were always great but Paramount really dropped the ball on its budget and care. The effects and cinematography feel more like a Cannon film than the other ST films in that part of the series.

S3 of Picard is still a really good watch.

This. Picard should’ve been only one season, and that one season was season 3.

Good call. He wasn't 'on board' until season 2. And I bet 98% of all who watched the movie missed that tiny bit of trivia.

And because of that, every movie ever made, sci fi or not, should be now erased for not being 100% fully accurate and on point with continuity.

Fully agree.

Reasonable folks have retconned an off-screen meeting between Khan and Chekov. Just because Chekov hadn't been bumped up to the bridge crew does not definitely mean he wasn't already onboard and working his way up through his JO responsibilities to be a more visible member by the events of season 2.

I mean, if we're going to start discrediting great shows because of very, very minor quibbles like this, what do we do with all the $hit, dreck and slop which also have plot holes like this (or worse)?

The bigger problems with TWOK is that it recycles the plot of Balance of Terror and Genesis is just a little too close to magic, but at least there is the quasi-scientific cover provided by Marcus and her team. Also, if you're going to steal the plot from a TOS episode, there are few better. None of that changes the the fact TWOK is one of the greatest films of all time.

Yep. I think most just liked the idea that Khan didn't know Terrell but did remember Chekov. It reinforced Khan's traits and motivation.

It worked for the general concept, if not technically keeping to the onscreen canon.

Walter Koneig knew when he read the script. He stayed silent because he didn't want to risk getting cut from the film.

I saw those and I have to give the guy who played Kirk credit, he really had the look and mannerisms of Captain Kirk down pat. They did a pretty good job with that show overall I thought

Don't forget Doohan's son playing Scotty - he was awesome. The Romulan commander was played by the daughter of the original actress.

Wow, I did not know that. I just looked it up after reading this and she favors her mom a good bit.

I liked Joanne Linville in quite a few of her performances, Star Trek, Twilight Zone and the Fugitive to name a few. She was pretty good
