Great movie? It looked like it had a cheap budget and was overly focused on raping and pillaging part of Viking life. I turned it off when he became a slave.

She looks gorgeous in The Perfect Couple imo.
Also very watchable in "Eyes Wide Shut".

The Northman mostly missed the mark for me. I get not all stories are "feel good", but Amleth returning for vengeance only to find out what the actual truth was was just very anti-climactic to me. But the ending fight scene at the bottom of the volcano was a pretty damn cool scene

SPOILER that you may have missed
When he tricked them into taking him as a slave,

Never read Hamlet?

As a kid. I did not read anything about The Northman prior to seeing it either. But "Prince of Jutland" was also an adaptation, though the parts of its plot are entirely different. And no I cannot tell which is accurate to Hamlet, but either way The Northman still was not a very captivating film to me other than the final fight scene.

Didn't realize she had that buccal fat removal surgery. Such a shame, she was gorgeous.

Ok, finished it tonight. It got better especially the scenery and the Valhalla imagery.

I told my wife I couldn’t watch “The Perfect Couple” because her face was too distracting. It’s not natural in any way.
Bono’s daughter made up for it though
