Bump. Who do we all think the big cameo is?
Posted on 4/14/21 at 8:27 pm to TheeRealCarolina
Paul Bettany as Paul Bettany. Betception.
Walker likely lose ps the shield this episode so it could be any number of people.

Not sure what’s going on in this thread but excited for the upcoming fight, hoping it’s their biggest/best action scene of the season. The show is pretty simple in story but I’ve grown into enjoying it for sure with Zemo and Walker. Hoping for a cool flashback to Korea at some point, would be incredible.

I doubt we’ll see anything else regarding Bradley in this show.

I really hope this episode delivers, because as of right now it's not even the best "superhero show" being released at this point, Invincible is.
I do think this episode will be good as the shite did finally hit the fan last week, the biggest gripe I have is right now it feels like the writers don't know who the bad guy is anymore... is it Zeemo, is it U.S. Agent, is it the Flag Smashers, and why the hell should I even care about Sharon at this point, it kinda took them forever to introduce her, and then they put it in the background after that.
hopefully this episode puts it back on the map.

There's some belief out there that the show originally had the Flag Smashers stealing vaccines and supplies because there was a global pandemic, and they pulled that plot line because of COVID, and forced them to rework the plot. That would explain why the earlier episodes were kinda all over the place.
This guy does a really good job of explaining it. Can't remember if I saw this linked on here or elsewhere.

It’s all but confirmed that that was the plot. Fiege has tiptoed around it.
I personally believe they should have kept it. If it offends people then oh well. Movies and tv shows have been ripping from the headlines for decades (Law and Order SVU anyone?) so if you can’t take it, then tough shite.

I’m beginning to wonder if John Walker will actually give up the mantle of Captain America.
He’ll lose the shield sure but will the government actually force him to relinquish the mantle?

It's going to be a twist with the Power Broker. Kingpin. Nah. Just kidding. That would be too good.

I feel like the rising action of Walker going apeshit will let things really start to roll the last two episodes. I was pretty skeptical after the first 3 eps, but after watching 4 I'm confident these last two are going to be a fun ride.
Also, I just read this Ringer article where the showrunners indicate this week's ep will be "the culmination of the theme"...so I think Falcon talking to Isaiah and deciding it's time to take over the shield will be somewhere in there (not that that's a hot take by any means)
As far as the cameo...I have no clue. My crackpipe theory is it's Shuri as Black Panther (I think that's a thing in the comics?), just because I want to see M/TV gripe about it

SPOLIERS (only if you consider the Ep. 5 trailer spoilers)

I'm pretty sure the trailer for the episode has a shot of Sam standing in front of Bradley's house. (unless they pulled that from his earlier visit - half of the episode trailers for this show seem to be scenes from previous episodes)

They're gonna go to Branson, MO and get Peter Quill's help.

Technically Shuri as BP would be a “new” character.
If we’re judging off Bettany’s previous misleading quote I’d say you could put a lot on the table. I did say it was crackpipe too

Ok, that was a big cameo.
JLD as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (who was apparently supposed to debut in Black Widow)
Also known as Madame Hydra. Ties in to Agent Carter as well since her character leads Leviathan.

Great episode. Hyped for next week.
Walker making his own shield at the end got me though. Surely that thing won’t hold up for a second?

Great episode, loved when his nephew called after him, “Uncle Sam”, as he was training.

My money is there's a Black Panther suit in that case that looks like Captain America's uniform.

I figured it would be new wings, but now I'm thinking a combo. Even with a suit I think he needs the wings to balance out the lack of SS serum.

yeah, I was thinking it's a vibranium tech cap suit
also, really liked all the Bucky and Sam scenes this episode. Those two are great on screen together
