Oh, shite. Did a British actor take a role in a popular filmmaker's prestige adaptation of a famous literary work? Who could ever believe it

surprised you could type all of this through the vibrations of your taffy pulling while you watched that trailer

Is this your long way of saying you went to TAMU?

Daniel Craig was gay in the Knives Out movies too. I'm starting to think he may be gay.

Is this the new kind of masculinity I keep hearing about.

Here some of the things you conveniently left out in your quote about the story I was told by a former co-worker giving an example of the depravity of actors and theater departments in college:
quote:

I later found out…
quote:

guy I worked with that one summer said they would…
quote:

The person who told me didn’t know what was happening until it started happening…

Selective quoting is lazy, but thanks for acknowledging that even though I went to LSU that I could have gotten accepted into a better academic and richer school like A&M…

quote:

I took 2 entry level acting classes in college as electives

Initially signed up after being an extra in something to check it out. I then instead used it to get more comfortable at speaking in front of people without a podium to stay behind or a written speech in front of me to rely on and to help with skits I took part in as counselor for multiple church camps and trips during my first 2 summers of college. Only maybe 1 person in the introductory classes I took ever ended up taking anything above them (at least that I knew of back then) and none were actually theater majors. The 2 classes were fun and made A’s in them. Besides losing interest it was too much of an incompatible culture for me to take anything above them.

Wow. That was a great way to take a joke.

Seriously, are you really taking that as I was personally talking to you?!?

I agree.

Hey, it's okay buddy. I'm sorry for triggering you. I was in speech and debate in HS, we did the nerd stuff, not the the gay stuff... but hey, it's alright man.

ETA: I was easily joking about TAMU==Gay(or Curious). some posters understood.

Just pointing out that your joke required lazy selective quoting and lazy overused A&M references. Its surprising it triggered more of the same from you with this post.

Things will get better for you and your jokes.

Thanks man. I do want to get better. When did they start letting you use silverware? That had to be a happy day.

I wrote a paper about William S Burroughs for a Beat Lit class and subsequently know way too much about the guy and the rampant homosexuality among the beat writers, Jack Kerouac included. Burroughs was such a pervert, early gay activists (remember when they just wanted to be accepted?) considered him a detriment to the cause.
I didn’t read any of Queer, but having read Naked Lunch, sadly, I can imagine how bad this movie could be.
