Scream 7 adds Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley to an already stacked cast...

Matthew Lillard was one of two original Ghostface killers from the now classic slasher film Scream (1996). He is now returning to the franchise along with fellow Ghostface actor Scott Foley (Scream 3).

So this could mean a few different things I think
- Bringing back the "Cult of Stu" storyline where he was pulling the strings for some new killers. That was supposed to be the plot of Scream 3 before it was scrapped due to Columbine and they toned the gore way down. That was Kevin Williamsons story and he is the director of Scream 7. Not sure why Scott Foley would be needed for this one.
-We get flashbacks to before original Scream with Scott Foley, Lillard, and Skeet, showing how it all started, maybe showing the killing of Sydney's mom
-The is a "New Nightmare" situation where we are in real life and Ghostface is hunting the actors from the Scream movies. Im not sure about how that would work with Joel McHale being announced as playing Sydney's husband Mark though.

Of all the Ghostface deaths, his was the most likely to be able to survive. He had a TV dropped on his head. Most get a bullet between the eyes
