Surprised they are allowing a song done by sinead o Connor. I know it’s originally prince, but after the O’Connor rolling the pope pic, SNL got lots of heat.

Cyrus is pretty talented IMO. Not a fan of that cover but I think it was more about arrangement.

I may be in the minority on this but Ive always felt like Miley was a case of too many execs saying “oh yeah, sure, she sings fine I guess” until she has been kind of allowed to enter the cultural zeitgeist as this vocalist who cant actually sing well but everyone just feels obligated to pretend she can.

I thought it was a nice gesture to the memory of Sinead O’Connor. Her career took a huge hit after that. It turns out she was right.
