Will the people yelling for original, Non-IP films show up to support this?

The film stars Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Marisa Abela, Tom Burke, Naomie Harris, Regé-Jean Page, and Pierce Brosnan.

I can’t resist a tight spy thriller, which is exactly what this 90 minute beauty is. Fantastic cast, brilliantly executed, a lot of fun, nothing else you could want really

“Black Bag” is pure movie magic, a flaming Cherries Jubilee that you can’t get enough of.

Soderbergh spends little time rummaging around his bag, quickly finding thematic resonance in a tight script from David Koepp and boundless charisma from a searing cast anchored by Fassbender and Cate Blanchett.

More John le Carré than James Bond, this is a very entertaining thriller, which applies Soderbergh’s well-trodden heist mechanics to espionage with slickly rewarding results.

BLACK BAG is a wildly entertaining spy thriller that revels in clever dialogue and shadowy espionage. Soderbergh makes every conversation one of intrigue, crafting a captivating atmosphere of suspense with a great cast to support Koepp’s wonderful script. A very engrossing work.

You know they won't.

Looks really good. I am a sucker for a spy thriller. And while Pierce Brosnan is only in a supporting role, he was very underrated in Thomas Crown Affair and Tailor of Panama.

Soderbergh is a director that I think has never lived up to his full potential. Don't get me wrong, he's made some great movies, but his penchant for trying small scale, somewhat experimental movies has held him back from making films that really resonate on a large scale. And he's totally capable of doing that.

Traffic mopped up at the 2000 Oscars. Oceans 11 and 12 were also gigantic films and gigantic hits.

Not everyone can be Spielberg or Kubrick and have a 20-30 yr prime.

Eh, I always prefer directors to make films they want to make. Whatever that may be.

Friend,

We just returned from a showing. At 90 minutes, I thought it was drawn out. The acting was dry and the plot very thin and simple. It was quite boring.

Watched it tonight, plot is super thin. It's a quick who did it movie. I was expecting more based on the reviews

I enjoyed it. I would be giving away too much to explain exactly why but it was mostly about the central characters motivations

Saw it last night. It was a solid B for me. I enjoyed it.

One of those movies we used to get like 10-15 a year and I’d see most of them in the theater.

Agree 100% tbh. Hes made some great movies, and while his highs are pretty high, so are his lows.

Saw this last night. It's a decent movie, but I'm wondering where the "sizzling good time", "wildly entertaining thriller" was. 90 minutes of "how cool are the two leads?". And Blanchett's face is now something that resembles a doll after all the surgery she's had on it. Shame.
