Car chases doing millions of dollars worth of damage with no consequences to the drivers. I'd like to see the aftermath with them getting sued into bankruptcy.

My first thought too
And zooming in to crappy surveillance footage to read a license plate or get a clear image from a reflection. I can suspend disbelief for Rambo to take out an army, but when I see a completely blurred low res image magically look like HD I say "aww, come on!"

In the movies' defense, have any of y'all ever tried running and shooting a handgun at the same time? Most inaccurate thing ever. It's quite hard. Also, firing off a whole mag as quickly as possible is almost useless unless at a <10ft range.
No experience, but my uncle is in the military and said that shooting an automatic weapon holding the trigger down is nearly pointless. You'll hit everywhere but your target.

THere was an article on Cracked.com that mentioned gun myths and one was about automatic weapons. They showed a guy firing an M-4 and another guy with an AK and they were both out of ammo in roughly four seconds firing full auto.
I've been watching a lot of 24 lately and there is a ton of the facial recognition/getting HD images from a blurred shot stuff going on there.

Cops show photo of dead body
"Oh she was Murdered? well I did some guy come and grab her, tie her up and throw her in a van, but i didnt think nothing of it. Thats all I know"

In that same vein
People never stop doing whatever theyre doing to talk to Homocide detectives
Packing crates, shoveling dirt, and raking the yard are all way bigger priorites than talking to the cops nagging you about the murder of a close friend/relative of yours

The thing about people always doing stuff while talking to the cops is probs so there's just movement onscreen. Makes it more interesting to watch to a lot of people instead of just sitting around.

The main character detective in a "Police" jacket armed with a snub nose revolver leading the swat team through the bad guy's front door.

Cops never come across as intimidating or over-aggressive in movies or TV shows if the movie's told from the POV of the cops.

The quarterback scrambling for seven minutes while his linemen throw lookout blocks and the clock runs out and bionic man music plays while he heaves the hail Mary pass and his receiver catches it in the end zone.
And he gets the head cheerleader.

Why do they always show the time one the clock for the last play anyway? Once its snapped, the clock ticking down to zero is irrelevant but they act like its Basketball where the QB has to get it out of his hands before the clock hits zero.
