Is billions worth a watch? I need something new (to me)

Has she even worked for the company in any official capacity during the show’s run? Her resume is as an activist for a fringe political movement. She would be a preposterous replacement.
And Ken said as much. And he was 100% right, the board would’ve fought her being alongside them in power.

There was a smugness to Billions that put me off from the first second I watched it. I think I only made it 2 or 3 episodes.
i have no desire to watch billions after hearing the writer's shite takes when he is on the Rewatchables
His Margin Call episode was fricking horrible

This was my thought from the start. I never understand why she or anyone else, especially Logan, would expect she could go from campaign manager to CEO of an international conglomerate in one step.

And she had the opportunity to gain that experience back in Season 2 but thought she was above it. Logan wanted her to spend (I think) about 3 years in the company, working with Gerri, working with him directly for a year, spending a year at one of their overseas properties, etc. and she was too prideful to take it. She was a spoiled brat over having to shadow Frank for one fricking day. She absolutely refused to be taught anything meaningful and as per usual thinks she knows everything she needs to know.
That's why Logan backed off of her.

I had forgotten about Logan wanting her to work her up.
I might have to give this show a rewatch after I finish Barry.

Even Roman started from scratch...

I just started S1 based on the non spoiler feedback about S4. I'm an episode and a half in, and it feels like Billions, but without the fun, intrigue, and complex characters. When does this pick up? Where in S1 is the break point where the story actually comes together for a newbie? DV away, but I don't like force watching stuff that "everyone" says is great, but actually isn't.
If you’re still not interested after Tom’s bachelor party episode, you should move on.

Billions was pretty good first few seasons till writers ran out of material.

It’s like a closed loop system.

Watched it last night. Actually rewatched EP3 as well because I thought it was a good episode but man it is not worth a rewatch. Turns out, seeing billionaires not know what to do when their dad dies is worth one watch, the second I didn't really have any pity for any of them but Con.
Actually liked last nights episode quite a bit better. A lot more dynamic to it. I was actually pretty surprised the three of them came to an agreement that quickly. Clearly Ken is the one closest to Logan when it comes to business. He can be ruthless too.
Conn only talking about the house had m laughing. The three asked him to use leave and he goes "mi casa su casa"

I've watched EP4 twice and I still think I'm missing something with that damn paper.. Did Geri/Karl/Frank make any changes to it before letting the others see?

Willa immediately getting her mother over there to talk about the remodel of a $63 mil penthouse was great too.

I think Ken is the closest to Logan from a capability standpoint while Rome probably has the best ideas but it just a mess. Ken obviously has his own issues as well.
