Tried to kill the deal and managed to get an ABSURD counter they can’t turn down. fricking hell.

This could be the rare case where the last season is the strongest.
Shiv is not going away quietly, and it looks like she helped Mattson get this deal on the downlow. What we don't see is if she banged him.

Just started binge watching yesterday.. amazing show.. still on 1st season
I always passed on this show because for some reason I thought the family firm was a lawyer company they owned instead of a media company so I always passed on it. So glad I started watching. Fun show!!

I want this more than anything on the show. I just don’t think they’ve shown any real ability on his part. He’s just kind of there when things happen.
He’s become a bigger dick but he still lacks confidence when things are really going down. Unless they’re going to tie together a bunch of things that were under our noses the whole time Kaiser Soze style

Personally I think he was making that all up, playing her just like he played the boys. The two people she mentioned to him (Karolina and Gerri) weren’t on the kill list, making her think that she has a voice with him. Now she also thinks she has leverage on him. It was wise of her to not say anything about it, but her thinking it’s a nuclear card, only to go public with it and have him and Ebba just be like “WTF” would be the end of her too.
