I finally caught up last night.
One thing I don't get...at the last tribal, why was everyone whispering about whether it was Kyle or Sue that team Sol were voting for? If Sol started the conversation, I would understand, but it was Teeny, Sam, and others. All of that and then every single one of them voted Sol. WTF? Because of that last minute scrambling, I never thought it would be a unanimous vote (minus Sol of course).

We thought the same thing. With all the scrambling, how could it be such a uniform vote?
Also, I say it every year, but they should ban the whispering and scrambling at tribal. I think it's bad television, especially when we can't hear them. I'd rather see the crazy fallout from confusion rather than it get organized last minute.

Agreed. Anything said should be out in the open at tribal council

Agreed. But I bet when she's all fixed up on the jury, with all her makeup and her hair fixed, she looks 50. Don't judge us by how bad we look when we aren't fixed up. Age is undefeated, but cosmetics aren't!

I was seriously disappointed that it wasn't Genevieve. I was so hoping she'd go. I agree with those that think she is more dangerous than Gabe. Gabe was clueless. Gen knew she might be in trouble.

I agree, I thought she would've been gone. She just isn't perceived as a physical threat (not that physical is the end all be all).

Gen will deliver a good speech at final TC if she makes it there but I don’t know who would vote for her going into final TC. She doesn’t seem to have a connection with anyone and burned a bridge with Teeney. Good luck!
I wouldn’t worry so much about getting Kyle out. Maybe he’ll get recognition if he sets the challenge record but juries seem to value personal connections more than physical prowess and Kyle doesn’t seem to be the best orator.

When you are on an island surrounded by water, there is no excuse to not wash your face. Everyone else seems to at least fix themselves up a little before tribal. She hasn't washed her face in days. The rain is the only thing that helped that.
Also, she has a real chip on her shoulder about her intelligence. When she is clearly has no self-awareness. She has been carried along by Gabe and Corrine, making her essentially on the bottom now.
Maybe she will bath so that she can make another alliance.

At this point I am betting on Rachel, Caroline, or Teeny getting the win, after Kyle wins final immunity and puts one of them against Sue.
Elimination beasts rarely win (going all the way back to Colby is season 2) and Genevieve and Sam are going to be the next targets.

I want Andy to get his comeuppance with all the bravado he is displaying. Having said that, it may be even more entertaining to see him plead his case at final tribal just to see all the "wtf" faces on the jury.

I'm so confused. Because I go on Survivor reddit and some of these podcasts and you would think he's greatest Survivor character ever and how he's wheeling and dealing. I respect the podcasters who don't just go along with that narrative.
Perhaps I still can't get over that first episode, but I just find Andy socially awkward, weird in general, annoying, and just not someone I enjoy watching at all. Not to mention he's delusional about his spot in the game.
Like, dude, you're able to flip around as much as you are because everyone sees you as a floater with no win equity, you're not "masterminding" anything.
I feel like this season is one where the pre-merge was great, but when Rome left, the season fell off a cliff a bit. And I like Rachel as a character, but given that she was essentially saved by production interference, like Erika, I would look at her as a bottom-tier winner.

If Rachel makes the final TC, she’ll be able to tell how she used her Shot In The Dark to test reactions so she could save her immunity. She’ll probably get Andy’s vote in the final TC if that scenario plays out.
Caroline is an okay player but she’s just kind of there. I can’t think of anything she’s masterminded.
Teeney has the personal background story to tell in final TC and get some emotional votes. She has been pretty smart to not talk during the game about her challenges at home because the others might see that as a threat.
If Sue can win another challenge or two, she will have a pretty good resume.
Andy seems like a Plus 1 player. People just use his vote for their own plots but he thinks he’s calling the shots. No one respects his game.

Rachel and Sue. Sam still has his one-tribal council one from the pre-merge that he can use as a fake. Kyle doesn't have one.
