And what about the actual writing?

lie about what? You think it makes the majority of people automatically hate a show just b/c someone's gay in it?
Really seemed to hurt Modern Family and it's 11 seasons of diversity.
Make a good show, and no one cares about diversity or gayness. When the diversity and gayness is organic, no one cares. When it's in place just to be there and doesn't fit into the story at all, it's a problem.
Mon Mothman was a strong female charactor in Andor. Her husband basically took a back seat to her, but you see the way this was all written made sense in the story. It didn't set out to make the white male weak and the woman strong as it's main point. You see anyone complaining about her being a strong female over her white male husband? NO. b/c she and the story are written organically, and she's actually one of if not the most interesting character on that show. I know for me every single time she was on the screen, the show felt intense and like something bad could happen any moment, and you could feel her anxiety.
Now compare Mon Mothman and how she was written to how Green Jedi Nepotism was written in the Acolyte, belitting the pathetic weak looking white male.

Why don't they just create their own Network for gays and have all gay shows with gay diverse casts for their gay shows and movies? surely it will be successful!
That's not the goal. The goal is to make sure it's in your face. The goal is to make sure it's in your child's face.
None of this is about telling stories. It's about changing culture. And thank God, it's a 100% guaranteed ticket to total failure.
It works great until you run out of other people's money.

Favreau and Lucas did a great job moving the story forward while also keeping each episode feeling like a mini adventure.
Hate that Carl Weathers passed away and they won't be able to keep him and Pedro's rapport going. The Christopher Lloyd cameo was a nice highlight tho, maybe they bring him back.

I did.
I answered it completely, and sufficiently
You just want something to argue against, so you are trying hard to create a standing.
Maya Angelou once said, "When someone tells you who they are, believe them"
The Creator/Showrunner/lead writer says the show was woke af.
Therefore the show was woke af, according to the people who actually made it.
I am sorry it hurts your feelings. I truly am.
But what is, still is. . .irrespective of your feelings

I asked you a question you can’t answer it.
What are you talking about dude? The quotes show exactly why the show is woke, are you trying to ignore reality?
How about self-inserting a black female into the original story and making her the reason the council was hesitant to train Anakin?
Made up minority characters have nothing to do with the story George told. It’s done purely for woke reasons

Knew you were going to say that.
I'm surprised you actually remember that Palpatine beats Mace seeing as I've had to remind you of basic plot points like how Qui Gon finds Anakin

Am I foolish to have decent hope that I'll enjoy this show?
Creators have a good track record, Jude Law is a strong lead, Bryce Dallas Howard directed at least one episode and her work on the various Star Wars series has been pretty strong. Nick Frost is voicing the droid in the series.
I don't know, I just feel like it's going to be good.

Sammy and Corinthians are just gluttons for punishment. I don’t believe the former is actually stupid simply just too steeped in a cult to see up from down, the latter could very possibly be a low IQ moron. Then you have noted gay rights champion Al Opecia who from my assessment is just scared to death people are going to shove him back into the closet or not make his gay wedding cake.

The guy trying to gatekeep (over a CULTURE war) what Disney shows others are allowed to like on the boob tube accusing others of being too steeped in their cult is rich.

Maybe next time they'll actually do a show based on the initial premise of the show: which was a show about the Sith's workings before the Phantom Menance.
Also maybe next time they won't kill the best, most interesting actor associated with the project in the first episode as a bait-and-switch.

Admit it. You’re just salty I called you the low iq moron and not Sammy.
Posted on 8/21/24 at 11:06 am to td01241
He’s intentionally dishonest, he doesn’t believe a word of what he says.

I've never gave a shite about people on the internet that resort to calling others 'low iq" think either way
Posted on 8/21/24 at 11:08 am to Corinthians420
You sure do post a lot on said internet and in such a tussy when you do for something you apparently aren’t concerned with or care about.

I don’t think so. It has everything it needs to be a good show. I’m excited to see Law as the Jedi that isn’t a Jedi. Should be nice to see a force user with charisma after acolyte (not including Manny, he did wonderful)
