The ultimate movie badass is Michael Corleone. Not in the same mold as Eastwood, etc... but the guy shot his rival and the chief of police himself and ordered the execution of his brother in law and his own freakin brother - and probably hundreds and hundreds more - all with a blank stare. Cold blooded.

No, it's just that Jason Bourne wouldn't intimidate me at all if I saw him. He looks like a clean-cut little mama's boy. And yeah, IMO, physical appearance does play a role in being a badass.
