If you’re referring to Joan, Peggy, and Anna then I agree; he had a greater respect for them. But I think he respected the others more than they demanded, given that they all knew he was married or knew what he was about, and certainly respected women more than men in general, given his whore house upbringing and the weaknesses of the men in the show highlighted during their downfalls.

This girl and the yellow dress girl he choked to death in his dream were a couple of random redhead baddies.

I don’t find Betty all that attractive, but I’m not into blondes.

Dr Faye was a piece of arse though.

Megan was a dog.

Just random Don’s bitches thoughts.

Also, agree with the Peter Dyckman Campbell criticism. Trudy was world class wife material. Her only misstep was making Pete leave Manhattan.

Betty was what Don was supposed to do.
All of the whorish brunettes were what he was conditioned to do.

He’s a POS and he was sexually abused, basically raped, as a kid. One of those causation issues.

Plus Betty was kinda fake and aloof most times.

I agree. And that time frame, men dominated and pretty much did what they wanted.

I’ve opined that the show exaggerated how prevalent it was, basically 100% of the men were pigs and office sexual harassers, not even one ever voicing displeasure at the behavior.

Here’s a pretty good summary of the character. I agree with this analysis that the whole story arc of Don is understanding his trauma and his coping mechanisms and defensive posture by wearing the mask of Don Draper

Pete cheating on trudy was a bigger sin imo

Pete outkicked his coverage many times over. His cheating was almost unbelievable. Draper was more of an Alpha, plus probably had serious psychological issues from his childhood.

Interesting that Joan and Peggy both turned on Don the last season.
Bitches.

Pretty much this. Most of the characters in the show are trash, and it's why I could never get into it. I didn't care about any of them. Perfect set and costume design, but I didn’t care about any of the storylines at all.
People are downvoting you but you’re absolutely correct. I can appreciate it’s a very well made show. It’s nowhere near my list of best shows I’ve seen for this reason. It was a chore to get through watching a bunch of horrible people.

I think he cheated on her as domesticated women from the era the show portrayed (1960’s) were deemed largely uninteresting.

Finished a rewatch last week. DD was a terrible person but can understand his desire to not get close to anyone, given his childhood

Pete was as bad yet he was worse than DD

Actress is Laura Ramsey, probably best known for her supporting role in She's the Man (2006) and she was the female lead in Covenant that same year, plus some other supporting roles (and some TV). She was the star of a 2015 VH1 series called Hindsight.

If you search for her on scandalplanet.com (NSFW), you can see whatever you want of her.

Like others have said, Don should have never have been married. He did it partly out of image of who Don Draper should be but inside, he was damaged as frick.

Plus, when you’re rich and look like Don, it’s natural for a LOT of baddies to come crawling around. Even a devout married man would probably have cheated with some of the women Don had thrown on him. Doesn’t make him any less of a POS. But it’s understandable. And that’s without getting into who Betty is as a person: emotionally immature AND unavailable, cold.

Kenny Cosgrove was pretty much the only halfway decent person and he got shite on the entire series

Paw-in-law’s company came through for him at the end though

The one that bothered me was when he was sleeping with the surgeon's wife, towards the end of the show's run.

At one point, the surgeon straps on cross country ski gear to get to the hospital during a blizzard, while Don watches him leave so he can go back upstairs and bang the guy's wife.

That ain't right.
