The pelicans will dig themselves a hole that they will not be able to get out of when everyone comes back "supposedly" healthy. They will be so far back and out of the top 10 to make the playoffs. This team isn't made of lions. They are are bunch of bitches. It's both the players and organization who are not tough.

We’re gonna go on a run when everybody comes back… it isn’t even December yet

Dooming is popular now. You get downvotes because no one wants reality.

I believe the reality is that we aren't going to be 'fully' healthy at any point this season. Even when players come back, others will be drifting in/out. I don't know if we are snake bitten or unlucky, but it's seems that we have a group of injury prone players that we are not managing well. All that being said, I'm sure we will have some winning streaks coming up (3-4 in a row, at a time). It's just not going to be enough and probably too late to make a difference. At that point, is it worth going forward with this same group, or at least the core? Is it time for major changes?

You have an owner who does not want to pay the luxury tax, and a roster that is almost at the $ max, with one of your top players in his final year and wanting a max dollar deal. Something has to give, and blowing it all up may be the be the best solution, so long as its organizational wide (front office, training staff, coaches). You can't build around Zion, and BI is not a lead guy.

I don't believe in paying the tax, unless you are trying to hold together a championship level squad. It's foolish spending that tries to cover up for irresponsible management. So I don't fault them for this philosophy.

But we do need engaged leadership that will hold all levels of the organization responsible and that starts with ownership. We need a change. Plus the future uncertainty is unsettling. The team has to be sold soon. That process should start now.

I believe the major portions would primarily have to wait until the offseason. But Ingram needs to be moved now. I wouldn't be opposed to moving Zion as well. I like the rest of the roster and I don't think we would be that bad without them (especially if we got serious value back for them). We have too many assets and players to totally bottom out..

Yeah. Imagine thinking that Dejounte, CJ, and Hawk are going to perform better than the likes of Jaylen Nowell and Jamal Cain

We'll play 0.500 ball in December, and then we should win 70% of the games when Zion is back in January..

We're still likely, to make the play-in with a very strong team. Sure, now there's no room for error and another serious injury would end all hope, but there's still plenty of reasons to expect the Pels to have the chance to make a playoff run.

We'll likely need 48 ish wins to get a top 6 seed and avoid the play in.

We need to go 44-22 starting tonight to get there.

Play in is a lost season and disappointment.

The season is done. That's the reality.
