We hate our players when they don't play because they don't feel like themselves, and apparently we also hate the players that do play when they feel nothing like themselves.

I’ll never bash guys like CJ that play through everything possible because he knows the team is better with them on the floor even if he’s only 75% of his fully healthy self.

I just wish the other 2 “leaders” could see that.

Everyone that shite on him last night should think about that. Playing with a torn thumb ligament and a torn labrum yet fatty couldn’t take the court because of his mental health.

How the frick do you play basketball with a torn labrum? He doesn’t miss a game and fat arse sits out half the season with a sore vagina.

The crazy thing about last night, and before I get my take off, I probably need to put a couple of disclaimers. CJ sucked last night, by any rational review of his play. And I'm not saying we went to shite because CJ was out of the game but...

CJ played 41 minutes. In the 7 minutes CJ sat, we were outscored by 15 points.

Point being, while CJ wasn't doing much contributing to winning in those 41 minutes, we were indeed winning in spite of CJ.

But the game itself was lost in the 7 minutes CJ was on the bench. Like I said, don't read too much into that. I'm just pointing out the fact that that was the time we played our worst ball, the 7 minutes he was out.

He's option 3 on a Zion/BI team

So suck it.

Trey as option 3 sounds great but will never happen with Willie afraid to reign in our 35 million dollar Jordan Crawford. In October and November before CJ hurt his thumb or shoulder, he led the team with 18 shots per game despite shooting 35%, despite a healthy Zion and BI, and despite a fantastic start for Trey.

Alright. What about his play prior to the final 7 games?

CJ is a true warrior, professional, class act, and ball player.

Zion is none of those things.

CJ has been behind BI and Zion in usage the entire season, and still is now even though he's played so many minutes without Zion and BI.

In my perfect world, I kind of want to see CJ embrace a 6th man role as he ages, and hopefully perform for us like Jason terry did for the mavericks championship team coming of the bench and dominating the second unit offensively.

The 20ppg, elite 3pt shooting, and career highs in assists & rebounds?

Context is lacking in these parts. Don't forget 39% from 3 on mostly off dribble looks once Zion went out. Needing him to increase his role as a pg once Jose and Dyson went down, being a primary shot creator/facilitator because our best player played 29 fricking games.

Spacing matters. Defenses have to respect CJ even if he’s banged up

Plus our backup point guard play was shite lol
