You guys wanting to fire the perfect tank commander need to step away and come back around the lottery.

Ah yes, Pelicans winning the lottery will change it all.

2012, drafted injury prone Anthony Davis, got seven expensive years of misery, finally got rid of him to end up back at the bottom and the #1 pick again.

2019 drafted lazy injury prone Zion, got five years of misery and counting and still near the bottom.

Did the Kings make a move?

Last I heard the star player wanted out and they had signed DeRozan to a bad contract.

Yeah, at this stage of the year being like 5-30 or whatever, I see no reason to fire Willie. Let him keep it rolling, the worst thing we could do end up 30-52 and worsen our odds of a top 3 pick. Nothing really to be gained from being middle of the pack.

The question is do you believe in players forming bad habits and not wanting it to carry over.

I disagree with that sentiment, but the longer this draws out - I'm wondering if guys come back healthy and we're on a 50 win pace for 20-30 games... Willie is also back

This season needs to just be used in developing Missi, Hawkins, and Trey taking over a bigger offensive load.

Their head coach is not the issue. That roster is similar to ours. A bunch talented players but horrible fits. Also no #1 type player on a championship caliber team. Sabonis might be close but eh. For us tho the player fit and an arse coach is a recipe for disaster

Their ownership is the opposite of Gayle. Too hands on

What on earth makes you think we could go 25-23 from here on out?
Zion's fat arse isnt' playing anytime soon, and if his fatass does come back, he won't be in shape anyway, nor will he care about playing well in a season already lost and him not needing to prove anything for a contract.
BI isnt' coming back until mid February, if at all.

7 of our next 14 games are against winnable teams who are bottom 7 teams in the league, and we get a Lukaless Mavs team too. January is our easiest month of the schedule. After this 14 game stretch, we play 30 playoff caliber teams in our last 34 games.

It's almost impossible for us to finish outside the bottom 7. If we were to go 20-28, which would be a miraculous turnaround, we're still almost guaranteed bottom 5 finish, which means 10.5-14% odds to win the lottery.

Maybe he is the issue. Doug Christie seems to have these guys playing hard even without Fox. He was smart to take minutes away from Huerter and give it to Keon Ellis.
