Kira is getting dumped, I think the only question is whether its now or at the trade deadline.

It will be before the season starts. I believe the rules changed as to when you needed to be under the tax line.

I think that only has to do with the salary floor, not the tax. I could be wrong though as the CBA is so new.

Sure but it's just not relevant.

The Heat just went to the Finals wasting a roster spot on Haslem.

The Nuggets won the title wasting a roster spot on the corpse of Deandre Jordan. The 15th spot on the roster isn't changing anything we're doing or can do. I get wanting a younger guy but it just doesn't really
matter enough to really be concerned about, especially when we have 3 2-way slots now available to us.

I agree with what you are saying to a certain extent.

I'd much rather take a flyer on a 2nd rounder and hope to hit.

2 or 3 drafts ago this board said we shouldn't even use our 2nd rounders because they wouldn't make the roster. I disagreed with that stance too.

relying on a rookie as the third guy to improve our spacing is wild. Is he even going to play? Meanwhile other good teams have more than just 2-3 reliable three point shooters.

Of course he is going to play.

It was the right move...dude is simply taking up good air at the bench. He's way beyond his usefulness and to say his veteran experience is an assett to the team is bullshite!

I saw Garrett last weekend in BR at a youth YMCA game. I assume he was there to see a relative.
I asked him if he was retiring or what and he said he's not sure just yet and is taking his time on what his next move is.

No. I think that Temple was a valuable voice in the locker room and on the practice court. But not when paying him would have meant paying tax.

Guys, it’s a minimum contract, but the longer you’ve been in the league the more the minimum is.

NBA players are so overpaid. $3.2 million to be a cheerleader.

It’s called supply and demand and it’s a big reason why America is the best country in the world.

If you think Temple is over paid wait til you see how much tax payer money nba owners get.

Not sure it's a serious comment he made, but anytime you get the discussion of the athlete being paid too much, the simplest question back is "who deserves the money the athletes generate?"

Because if it's not the athlete who deserves it, then it's the owner with $5 billion in the bank who deserves it?

They can trade Lewis. But it would probably cost us a pick

They can trade Lewis once things calm down a bit into someone's space and create a TP, it probably wouldn't take much

I assume they could also waive and stretch him, which would drop his cap hit to like 2 million. Jose still being out makes this
less likely, but it seems better than giving up value to move him.
