Zach Lowe on his latest podcast talking about what vets Portland could target mentioned #3 and Anfernee Simons not being enough for Mikal Bridges or OG Anunoby. That's just insane to me that OG Anunoby is "worth" that much.

I don't know that I would give either of those individual assets for him, let alone both. What world am I living in

The Raptors are being ridiculous if they think the third pick and Simmons isn’t enough for Annouby.

OG just isn’t good enough on offense to be considered a high level player. He’s a good 2 way player but won’t ever be the best or 2nd best player on a solid playoff team.

Toronto would have to be stupid not to take that deal.
I wouldn't trade the #3 pick just for OG, much less #3 and Simons.

I interpreted it the same way you did for Mikal at first, but when he said it for OG I’m pretty sure he meant it wouldn’t be enough to make Portland a true title contender- that’s what the whole conversation context was around.

I think that makes much more sense than saying Simons + #3 isn’t enough for OG. Pretty sure OG’s own mother would ship him out for that return

OG is not worth that much. Masai is known for way overvaluing his guys. OG is an expiring, if masai continues to ask for that much then he'll lose him for nothing. Masai had an offer from philly for an expiring kyle lowry that would have landed them maxey at the deadline. Masai said no and had to sign and trade lowry to miami in the offseason for precious achiuwa and goran dragic just to get some value

We're not going to be making many moves. 1) Because we really can't and 2) For better or for worse, the FO believes this current team at full health can win a title.

This. The only move I see us making is trading Jonas. I do think that will happen. We'll pick Hawkins at 14 and we will roll with that squad

on the flip side, I'd give up 2 1sts with the quickness to swap JVal for Claxton.

Send them Naji as well as a sweetener. But this is the move I think we will try and make.

Nets have no reason to trade Claxton for expiring vets and 2nd round picks.

Nobody has even remotely suggested that. If you want Claxton you're going to have to convince them to trade him. JV is good enough that they should feel they wouldn't fall off swapping Claxton for JV. But they need to feel better, which means 2 1sts so they can have the assets to find another star to pair with Bridges and figure out the long term center later.
