Jordan Hawkins is the easy answer, I know it’s not a sexy pick but we don’t need sexy we need shooting

38% projected 40% NBA 3pt shooter
Champion
High IQ
I don’t care he’s not the biggest
I don’t care he doesn’t have elite speed
I don’t care he can’t jump out of the gym
I don’t care he doesn’t have POTENTIAL

You have your superstars already Griff now build around them, elite shooting opens the floor for them

Don’t overthink this

Jett Howard is probably my pick at the moment, or Kris Murray. Both have good size and can shoot.

As long as they can shoot, I just would go with the elite shooter

Is he still your pick with him possibly being a Klutch client? His dad is tight with Lebron I’m sure, now I wouldn’t mind having Juwann Howard around to slap Griff and Willie when they do something stupid

If Grady Dick is there at 14 that's who I want.

Would love to add Gradey Dick, you can never have too many big shooters (I wouldn’t be mad at a Hawkins pick but he is a good bit less versatile due to his size), but it just seems super unlikely that he will be available when the Pels pick.

The next two in that mold seem to be Jett Howard and Kris Murray. Even if neither are superstars they both could provide nice rotation off the bench…heck, Kris Murray might’ve started some games for the Pels this year given the lack of a backup 4 and all the time Zion missed.

And my only reason for hesitating on kris Murray is if Zion is healthy whose minutes would he take? Unless they play him at the 3

I have a weird feeling he’ll slide. Every year someone does and I can see it being him.

I want gradey dick, Kobe bufkin, Jett Howard or Derek lively

I really like lively but I can’t see the FO wanting to develop another big man. Lively is a really good rim protector and is nimble enough to guard on the perimeter but has almost no offensive game and need to add a little more weight

Jett Howard for potential. His defense isn't good right now but he tries. Hopefully he can develop it in the league with his pedigree.

Hawkins as a day 1 contributor where you are going to incorporate his movement shooting into the offensive sets immediately. He's a perfect fit right now.

Bufkin is the swing pick. If he hits, you have a Jordan Poole type of guy with strong on ball defense.

Cason Wallace is my sleeper pick. Some people think he could have a Jrue Holiday type of ceiling. I like Kentucky Point Guards who play strong defense and shows a well rounded game and displays good IQ. Those guys always hit.

I think that’s a big part of his value, he should be a good enough shooter to play him at the 3 as a floor spacer, but he has enough size to play at the 4.

IMO even if he isn’t as good as his twin brother (who reportedly is the harder worker…and that’s my big hesitation), 90% of a Keegan Murray would help the Pels.

A guy that isn’t projected in the first I think could be productive is Kobe Brown…big, strong guy, that developed a 40%+ 3pt shot on decent volume.

Im just not a fan of hawkins. He gives you nothing else on the floor if his shot isnt falling. Reminds me a lot of another uconn guy james bouknight.

I’d take sensabaugh before Howard. Struggles defensively too but gets more rebounds and has a much more well rounded offensive game. Shot better from 3 as well

I think we need a small, explosive guard, especially if we move on from Lewis. I could see Wallace. How about Keyonte George?

Different player than Wallace, better/more well-rounded offensive game, not the defender Wallace is

He may be gone by the time we pick. Think Wallace is right in our range as a pick between 12 and 18.
