Being in good shape is not easy. Being in elite shape is incredibly difficult. A very small % of people ever get close to their optimum condition. It's almost impossible to do it without a lot of assistance..

Yet somehow literally millions of other athletes are capable of doing it making a shite ton less money than this fat arse.
The average high school basketball player works harder than him and are in better shape, and don’t have near the amount of time or money to do so.

I'm sure there are many. But that is not my point. We keep saying how easy it is to get into elite condition and it's just the case. It is very difficult, and it takes a lot of resources to get there.

Are you being serious?

He’s a fricking professional athlete. It’s literally his job.
There are millions of people in the US that have normal jobs and kids and still find time to be in good enough shape to run a fricking marathon.

It is incredibly easy for someone who loves playing basketball to be in elite shape.
Think about that statement I just said.

Zion has no excuse

You are being paid an exuberant amount of money

Your only job is to play basketball

If you actually put out in training camp on both sides of the ball, in practice, and during games with a decent diet...you would already be in shape and conditioned

It doesn't take a 23 year old 12 months to 5 years to get in shape

No, they are not. As fat as Zion is, he is in better shape than 99.9% of any person on the planet. He can roll out of bed after a 3 day bender high as shite and annihilate any high school basketball player ever. You don't know what you are talking about.

All I'm saying is it's not simple to get into elite shape. There isn't a guy on our team that has maximized their body or physiques. Only one close is McCollum. Everybody else needs serious work too.

Once again, I'm not defending Zion. This is all his fault. It's just not an easy fix. He can't do it alone and it would take literally a year or more to get him where he should be. You don't get in shape playing the sport twice a week. He needs so much more than that..

Nobody but himself can keep food out of his mouth and have him engage in cardio. To not get fat you simply need to be in a calorie deficit. It cost $0 to be self disciplined. That’s his biggest issue.

We'd lose all those games, because Zion already give almost no effort on defense.

What you do if you want to make an impact is take him out of the starting lineup and bring him off the bench.

I will say that the man who has been completely vindicated this season is Aaron Nelson. Plenty of people on this board hated on him for almost chasing Zion away, and he was the only one who really tried to hold Zion accountable.

I think you’re confusing talent with conditioning lol.
