In the last thread, I said that I would put the betting line on a 35-game suspension. If that were indeed the line, hearing this today would make me hammer the over.
But Silver, if you don't want to distract from the Finals, you can just say "No comment." about Ja right now. People will now do exactly what you claim not to have wanted.

It’s probably a year. 1 you did again which increases punishment 2 he did it so close to the first one. 3 he did it after promising Adam Silver to his face. 4 he did shite 10x worse that’s not in the news somehow. He beat the shite out of a teenager and brandished a gun on him after beating him. Also threatened a footlocker employee who if I remember right was also a teenager. I know I’m forgetting other stuff but to recap. Battery, 2x assault, negligent carrying of a concealed firearm, aggravated assault at least. He deserves years of prison but classic millionaires getting away with shite. He SHOULD get at least a year. Anything less than a year is joke

I heard from an agent friend that there is worse stuff that gets talked about, some other bad incidents with Ja and his posse. But I've never seen them reported on.
Same guy told me Big Z had a little trouble too, something involving him and his crew tearing around on four wheelers and getting lots of complaints...

Silver pretty much said that the initial suspension obviously didn’t do any good and in hindsight wasn’t long enough. I bet it is at least 40 games

In all fairness to him. He didn’t actually do anything illegal from what we’ve seen. Yes, he was flashing a gun but he’s of age to carry. Besides, how many senators, congressmen/congresswomen, as well as other elected officials are caught in pictures and videos flashing guns/assault rifles and sometimes with their children doing it? But they get applauded for it?
