I hate AD as much as the next for being sucked in by Lebron just to get 1 Mickey Mouse championship but every time I watch him he’s so damn good. Just such a great rim protector, if he had actually cared about winning, he would have changed his mind when we won the lottery and we’d have had Zion, AD, and Jrue. Would have probably been our best team ever. In this alternate reality Zion never had health issues.

Hornets/Pelicans

CP3
AD (ugh)
David West
Baron (will be moved off shortly)

Depending on what happens over next several seasons these will be in contention:

Zion
Herb
Murphy
Murray

Mine is:

Dickau
Jimmer
Osik
Casspi

kidding but remember the hope/hype around Casspi? Those AD teams has such shite rosters.

For real, I’ll go with:
Mashburn
Zion
CP3
Jrue

I’d put AD over Mash but I never enjoyed watching him then and hate him so much in retrospect I can’t do it.

I mean F him but if he “cares about winning” he made the right move. He has a championship ring and has been the the western finals. What has Nola done?

Pete is a lock, no doubt…
I’m trying to remember more of the Jazz roster.

Truck Robinson was probably the 2nd best player. Gail Goodrich, Rich Kelley, Paul Griffin, Spencer Haywood, Joe C Meriweather, Henry Bibby, Tommy Green, EC Coleman, Aaron James, Otto Moore, Walt Bellamy, Mel Counts, Ron Behagen, Jimmy McElroy, Bud Stallworth, Slick Watts, Nate Williams. No one really Mt Rushmore worthy.

Truck Robinson and Spencer Haywood join Pistol Pete.
Gail Goodrich will always be remembered as the free agent signing that cost us three first round picks! Not only that, destroyed the Jazz franchise staying in New Orleans. Fans didn't think they would leave, but with a Mormon owner, it was easy to move to Utah. Anyone care to remember who the Lakers drafted with that 1st number one? Magic Johnson!!

Yeah, unfortunately I remember that very well. The league awarded those picks to the Lakers when the Jazz signed Goodrich. Gail was a shell of his Laker self after the deal. He was in his 30s at the time. Terrible deal.

Interesting interview with Goodrich-
