Lakers fricked up giving him more than 1 year guaranteed.

From NBA Central on Twitter:
quote:
Nic Claxton could be available for trade
“I've heard more than once this week not to discount the idea that Brooklyn big man Nic Claxton could be more available over the next seven days than previously advertised. There are mixed signals in circulation about the Nets' plans with Claxton as unrestricted free agency looms this summer.”

I like Claxton but he gets bullied by the bigger centers and he's about to get PAID

and they have already realized Day'Ron Sharpe is the better center, which is why Claxton is available.

Claxton’s a good player, but as was said, he’s a liability in a lot of matchups and a pending free agent. If he’s not your starter, how much do you really want to lockup with him

The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Steven Adams to the Houston Rockets for Victor Oladipo and three second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

Looks like a money move. Oladipo is expiring.

Lakers looking to move LeBron?
This is a local LA Sports Anchor, so for all I know he's the Los Angeles Fletcher.

Hearing from @nba peeps @KingJames is the top of the @Lakers list to trade the 39 year old. Pelinka is looking for the right team to dance with and is close to a suitor Lbj and AD both out tonight. @KTLA @KTLA5SPORTS #nba #Lakers

It's absolutely the correct move. That team isn't winning shite this year or the next and they have no assets. AD and LeBron should be moved so they can rebuild. They'd get at least two firsts for AD

Lol they’re not trading Lebron.

He did call it a couple years ago that Kawhi was signing with Clippers and had no interest in Lakers.

I'm trying to think who the team would be that has the spare assets to give up enough to make it happen. They have to be a top 10 team and have assets to spare. Philly?

Good long term move for the Rockets. Get a physical center to spell Sengun when he's getting dominated, like last night against JV.

Dallas would do anything they could to get him, even though they don't have much.

6ers
Heat
Knicks
Mavs
Wolves
Warriors
They would all be banging down the door offering everything they could put together

6ers-Anybody but embiid I would imagine
Heat-Bam would move the needle some
Knicks-Anyone would be available.
Mavs have lively and tim Hardaway junior as bait
Wolves would trade Kat or Rudy in a split second, but probably not both, and ANT would be off the table.
The Warriors are the ones that make the least amount of sense. They don't have much to offer at any level of replacement, and not much in the way of picks either

I would think Lakers would be looking for expiring salary, 6ers have Harris and Kork who would fit that along with a couple picks they could send.
Lakers wouldn’t get Bam or any high level player like that, not even for 39 year old Lebron on an expiring deal.
