But every team can have a bad performance. That’s why the NBA
Playoffs consists of series and not single games. It’s not the end of the
season. I’ll still be watching.

Just bought some tickets for the t wolves Monday night. They’re cheap as hell for some reason (I guess because of last games blowout?), t wolves are the number 1 team in the league right now. This seems like the type of game that the Pels win and rope everyone back in with. Hope I don’t regret it. Last game I went to was the warriors blow out

I'm not ready to give up on the team. I'm just growing closer to giving up on Zion being a difference for this franchise.

People aren't upset because they lost one game, people are upset because at a time when a true generational talent would be rising to the challenge, Zion not only didn't rise to the challenge, he looks like he took a step back.

This "one game" just puts a spotlight on the basic problem that Zion isn't serious about being a star player. We had a similar moment last year when he was laughing at CJ for his stretching routine the day after he blew his hamstring. It doesn't matter if you talk the talk, you have to walk the walk.

He's got 4 and a half months to get his shite together. And while I know he'll do better when it actually counts, his limitations are going to put a huge cap on our ceiling this year. People have been waiting 5 years for him and seeing him like that in a game that had a playoff type of stage is disheartening to watch.

Then you have to hope he makes it to May as well. People will get over it. And we'll win games. But we'll probably won't get far in the playoffs if he can't get it together.

I mean if all he did was cut his calories while playing NBA basketball he would be a beast- normal people do this all the time. shite just eat only at chipotle or eat salads while playing NBA ball, the guy will drop weight quick. This isnt that difficult.

Forget being serious about being a star player, he has shown that he is not serious about the game at all.

Why do we know this?

He has given us no data points for us to believe that.

Yep, except that's the problem.

This isn't a tiny, small sample size. It's over a quarter of the season.

That's not good.

He was a lot better 23 games in last season and this includes his shape and conditioning.

This season.

But this is Year 5. We aren't talking about a guy on his rookie contract still trying to figure it out. A teenager. He's 23. He is way behind "generational talent" pace.

#1 overall "big man" picks comparison, year 4:

LINK

We aren't talking about a guy selected mid lottery, late lottery. Unanimous #1 pick, most highly touted pick since Lebron, maybe AD. It shouldn't be this bad, this much uncertainty.

And he can't blame bad ownership or poor roster construction like CP3 or AD.
