I reckon he’s gonna do a lot of both regardless

I agree. Only 3 things can happen here. Either he gets stuffed,he puts their bigs in foul trouble, or he finishes through contact. I’d imagine he’s more likely to cause bigs to foul him since he’s so quick off the bounce.

Wait, does people expect a person who barely shot/had a shot to suddenly "have a shot"?
And nah, by November, that conditioning will be there. He's running all get now, so I'm in no way concerned about his shape

Looking at the stats, one can see that we dominated the game due to our defense.
Some of the offensive stats are very similar. Both teams shot 46% from the field, though our percentages from the free-throw strip and from beyond the arc were better.
But we outrebounded them 55-44, with a 15-9 edge in OREB. Getting 12 steals to their 5 led to a lot of fast breaks for us. Our defensive pressure led the Hawks to commit 29 turnovers, compared to 20 for us.
Defense was the big difference in the game.

What exactly did you expect?
I mean look, he was fine. I was just a bit disappointed in his conditioning. I thought it would be a bit better at this point.
He will be fine come the season.

I only got to watch the last quarter and change. Why did Favors only play 8 minutes?
I'm glad to hear Melli looked good, because he missed several 3 balls short when I was watching. Probably just tired legs at the end of the game.

He had a tight hammy most thought he wouldn’t play. It’s probably not necessary for him to play much in preseason.
Melli was good. Very good. He was missing shots in the 2nd half but you can tell he’s a smart, tough player that makes others better.

team defense can often be hard to follow as most people, myself included, tend to watch the ball. heres an excellent example of melli directing traffic on D

The thing Melli did that I liked most was he put a body on someone every play. He boxed out consistently too, that’s probably why he was one of the better rebounders in Euro.

That pass Melli made to Ingram was pretty slick for a big too. He is going to be a real player.

That's ridiculous how better the defense is and it only gets better from here.
