We've rightfully said for a while now that Willie Green needs the door, but I think Griffin deserves to be sent packing more than he does IMO.

Absolutely. Why should Griffin get to hire a 4th head coach? YOU’RE the common denominator Griff.

I’d say this is happening to get under tax and because we kinda did figure it out. I’m happy with Missi and Karlo, we can’t afford anyone above their caliber at the moment anyways. His overpays on mediocre players generally don’t pay off but this is net neutral at worst.

His Achilles heels are picking coaches, his borderline weird need to be considered cool by players and therefore not hold them accountable, and overpaying mediocre players. If he doesn’t fix the former 2 now, he may be done for in NOLA.

Overall mediocre drafting, holding onto players for too long until they lose their trade value, and shitty coaching hires

He is a shitty GM who has constantly been reactive with his decision making and not proactive

I think he’s done well in drafts, Hayes and NAW was probably biggest misstep should’ve kept 4th pick. He’s been phenomenal from back half on of drafts. Agree on holding Lonzo too long and maybe BI. I still put him as a top 10 GM overall.

The fanbase is far too harsh on Griff, the players, and probably Willie. He has made some decent trades and has drafted better than average.

No team could have withstood these injuries. Now should we have built around 2 injury prone players.... no but its also the only time we have ever had 2 young all star players.

I still think a different system could have cracked the BI /Zion combo.

Using draft picks to move veterans that aren’t helping us win is a cherished pelicans tradition.

OP really thinks that our problem this year was the center position.

Dumping Theis now for a bad 2nd round pick in 2031 or whatever is a good move. We want to suck right now, so thinning out our options at center will help that happen.
