Queens seems to be moving better this game. Hope he gets into basketball shape. He plays with effort on both floors and we be good.

My cope is that since it’s summer league with this super sloppy style of basketball and no one on the team able to properly distribute, he is trying to assume a role that he does not have the skill set for.
When he has a guard that can feed him the ball properly and he doesn’t have to create his own offense, he will look better.

He said it was a selfish game and that guys play iso ball and shite. Then he comes in and throw up a bunch of shots and shoots 28% from the field and 30% from the line. Holy shite.

I remember when Naji Marshall was enemy number 1 on this board while he led us to like 10 straight SL victories averaging something like 18/7/5/2 on 50% shooting.

I’m definitely coping hard by saying “it’s SL, who cares.” But I know if one of Missi, Fears, or Queen was going ballistic I would be hyped for it. SL probably really is a glorified pickup game and when the defense is as good as it as that level, it’s hard to consistently make plays with no sets. Which would explain the 14 damn turnovers between Queen and Fears.

I just saw a couple of those highlights. Against slower defenders, he has some really nice moves. Can go left and right with touch on tough shots. Really really talented player.

All deflection. The guy had the ball with 1 person in front of him most of the time and missed 75% of his shots at the rim. If you want to blame facilitators then you also have to blame Missi for having negative shot creation and finishing abilities.

Safe to assume from summer league that we're going to continue this stupid Willie Green 5-out offense where we put three guys who cant shoot at the 3pt line and let Zion barrel into three guys in the paint?
