He’s due for an extension this coming season but I honestly don’t have any idea what they are going to view as his value: Maybe something like Josh Hart’s 3 year $37 mil contract. Possibly even more than that. I can see him getting around 4 years $60 million I suppose.

His offense development will make a big difference obviously, but I feel like he’s gonna make closer to 20 mil a season, something like 4 yr 80 million. He’s so good at defense and still gives some ball handling and ability to attack the rim on offense, even if his shot isn’t falling.

Absolute shut down defender when it matters, and he scores 20 in a play in game.

Give him a coach who can call a complete game to match his talent and everything falls in place.

Herb is an unusual guy for the NBA, very very humble guy. I don’t think money is that much of a driving factor in his life but he will still want to be paid what he’s worth and anywhere between 15-20 mil a year is good with me. Now when Trey comes due he’s going to want a max deal or damn close to it.

He’s going to get much more than that, and he deserves it. Lu Dort got 5/$82 last offseason. I think you see something similar for Herb.

The 4/72 that someone brought up is practically what the win share calculation projects. It says $17.82M a year.

I wouldn’t mind at all if he got that same deal. Fair for both sides.

It's great to have the opportunity to lock him in now, before the new TV deal and resulting cap increase and salary inflation.

He earned the majority of it in one play-in game
