I’m at a lost for words right now at this offense

But it's the way the Saints offense have done it for the two games.
Not counting the chickens and it's a long season and anything can happen in the NFL, but the Saints are off to a very impressive start. Just enjoy it.

while both great games in their own right, for differing reasons, i'm choosing to remain cautiously optimistic until we have a little bit better understanding of exactly what we have/what all is possible...
that being said, they have been absolutely great... players, staff, playcalling, personnel groupings, everything

I’m impressed by your dedication to discredit. You really went out of your way to get there. Yeah it’s only two games, but to deny their performance in those two games was impressive, is just being dishonest. I haven’t seen a team score as many points this week or last, and that’s something to get excited about.

Sounds like you've tasted a Niners player or two.

I still think we need to add a guard and/or another WR but putting an arse whipping on the Cowboys IN Jerry World is hard to ignore.

The only downside if they keep this up is someone will scoop up Kubiak as a HC & we’ll be back to square one with Allen again

I love this and everything is looking great buuuuut we need to remember the NFL is entertainment with that being said will the NFL let us play at home for a super bowl?I very seriously doubt it which sucks because this team playing like this can't beat anyone....

The Cardinals scored 40+ yesterday and they won't make the playoffs. What's your point?

I thought they would be reasonably better than what was shown in the preseason because...it was the preseason. Still, there were too many personnel deficiencies/unknowns to think they would be really good. As it turns out (at least for the first two games), the scheme/playcalling has unlocked the strengths of the offense. The OL was probably never going to be a great pass blocking team, but thus far, they haven't had to. They are running the ball so well the Saints haven't HAD to pass all that much. They are using it to take shots. Carr's decision making has always been spotty, and his accuracy can come and go. However, like Brady said yesterday, no one has ever questioned his arm strength, and right now he's free to just rip it without having to do a ton of thinking. You can see the confidence everyone has.
It's the NFL. Opponents are going to adjust. It's also true that the Saints don't have much depth offensively. The drop off from Shaheed, Olave, Kamara is pretty sharp, and there is no one else who can do what Hill does. That means staying healthy is HUGE for this team. However, the new approach gives you confidence that even when the Saints stop scoring 40+ per game they are still good enough to put up enough points to allow the defense to give them a chance.

I don't care what anyone says or what their posts were in the offseason. No one actually thought they would look like THIS, especially after preseason where they were hot garbage.
This is absolutely unreal. Kubiak is very good. This is crazy

It's two games...
One was against the arse Panthers
The second was against a team that's historically struggled against a 49ers offense. The Saints happen to have the former 49ers QB coach calling plays.
Zimme we can dance after this one, its earned.

Who was the 2021 offensive coordinator for the Vikings and who was the head coach?
Now look where they are today

I have no idea what this means. West coast offense? Current day Niners?
It doesn't matter who they were playing. The last 2 1/2 quarters was arse-raping smash mouth football. The run blocking was breath taking. Pure brutality. The only thing I could compare with Kamara yanking off 5-8 yd runs when Dallas KNEW the run was coming was Larry Little pulling and destroying worlds for Mercury Morris on the early '70s Dolphins teams.
And this is from a Saints "fan" who had a virtual exorcism after the '92 playoff loss to the Eagles to rid them from my existence. MF'ers are trying to suck me back in. Dammit.
