Doubt we see any starting QBs playing this weekend either.

Browns are playing their qbs. Dolphins announced they’re playing their starters as well. This used to be practice squad players games but there’s only 3 preseason games now and most started don’t even play much. You do see a good amount playing this final Sunday now

Just from memory, a rookie Russell Wilson beating out Matt Flynn, winning ROY and then making consecutive Super Bowls in years 2 and 3…

And we won’t all season

Yup that might be the only one the last 20 years I can think of. I think they waited so long b/c they paid Flynn starter money and basically benched him.
