You don’t think Hopkins would agree with Thomas?

Maybe you haven’t been on social media, but Hopkins has been much more active than Thomas during this situation

Of course Thomas is already tweeting about it.
I'd hope he went directly to Brees first.

It would be real cowardly if those tweets were directed at Brees AND he didn't actually talk to Brees first.

I encourage everyone to watch the entire video.

He has thoughtful comments about injustice that are being totally disregarded for this one statement

I'm guessing he may have to 'clarify' or apologize. I think this is one of those situations where people assume something sinister is implied when there actually is none.

If I were Brees, I'd 'clarify' by saying something like 'I support kneeling and peaceful protests during appropriate pre-game moments but prefer it not to be during the performance of the national anthem.

Lebron James is coming after him now.

This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

He already did!!!

If you and the other dumbfricks (sanders and thomas) would do a little more research instead of just reading headlines, you would have fricking heard him say EXACTLY what you quoted

Social media and the media in general have made a lot of you lazy arse people so fricking easy to control. Good lord

Congrats to him on the consistency and also being clueless about when it's really smarter to keep your opinions to yourself

For real. A completely tone deaf statement.

Has nothing to do with what Thomas thinks. He's allowed to have the opinion he has. Hopkins is just better

He completely ignored what kneeling during the anthem actually meant and ignores that the rights his grandfathers fought for are actually not granted unilaterally right now. That's not an opinion

Shut up pussy. Men, black and white alike, have fought and died for that flag and everything it represents. I wouldn't expect some little bitch millenial who hasn't served to understand that. Drew was real close with grandfather who was a wwII vet so he understands that and good on him. There are other avenues of protest that dont disrespect our nation's heroes. Hes a damn fine man and a true patriot. I am proud to have him as my QB.

Flame away.

As someone who did watch the whole video, Brees still comes across as someone not realizing that the flag’s supposed representation of unity has been nothing but a farce for those in the black community for many years now.
