With White cemented into the nickel role, it looks like it was either the #2 spot for Champ or nothing. Robinson won the #2 spot, so really no place for Bailey. Dixon gives you another ST player, health, cheaper, and he's someone who can grow on your team. Sure, he would have likely made it to the PS, but the team must really be high on him.

They must have seen something in practice that we didn't.

Bailey barely practiced. Dixon has made some plays. Pretty simlpe
I was talking about Dixon, not Bailey. Sorry, wasn't clear.

He was better than PRob and White, none of them were impressive but still. Keep the depth especially with our injury history

Yeah Larry is going full retard

It's likely that Bailey had neither the speed nor the endurance the play CB at this level anymore.

One of the national media guys called it at the beginning of camp. I forgot who he was, but he said that even when Champ was playing he didn't look great. I think the local guys wants Bailey to succeed as much as we did, so they never addressed it as much. Every now and then we'd see a tweet saying Bailey was beat, but it was never a focus of any article they've written this preseason.

If they're keeping Toon over Meachem, it's only because they refuse to admit the mistake just yet.

I laughed when that was said about Foster. Aside from the fact we have no of he good linemen for depth to take his spot, he has proven himself a more than capable player and a few mediocre preseason showings doesn't discount everything else.
Pass that over to PRob too. Just because he gave up a few throws underneath doesn't mean he is now terrible.

Guess Payton doesn't value Meachem's pass blocking as much as the message board GMs do.

Meach here now Meach gone? WTF?
I guess Morgan really did take his role. Looks like they are only keeping one guy for each role, depth be dammed.
