Another interior OL option that pops up in the middle rounds of the mocks I’ve done

We need a nasty guard or two

quote:

National team coaches repeatedly had to tell Georgia Tech OL Keylan Rutledge to stay up and tone down the physicality in team period. He took snaps at all 3 interior spots during that session and finished it with a nasty pancake.

Very impressive start to practice for him.

that is nice to see.

I cannot tell you how many times where it's the Dlinemen winning those types of reps at the Senior Bowl.

nice to see/hear Rutledge's play show up in a hungury mood.

TJ Parker turned heads today

Daniel Jeremiah has him at #38 in his first Top 50 release today

2nd rder for him sounds way better. Top 15 talk was nuts with his production.

Agree!

That was what I was thinking then Jeremiah's comments made me think there is a chance he does fall to the 2nd.

I try not and get too worked up over what happens during Senior Bowl week but everything DJ mentioned his comments about his play showed up today.

I’m keeping eye on love’s backup. His value would be x3 if he had volume to back up his worth.

Here are the senior bowl RBs

I keep seeing Mike Washington’s name pop up. Big ole baw of a RB

quote:

Mike Washington Jr. among qualified, draft-eligible Power 4 RBs:

- 6.4 YPC (3rd)
- 515 breakaway yards (3rd)
- 30 runs of 10+ yards (3rd)
- 1,066 rushing yards (5th)
- 3.86 YAC/att (6th)

For a 223-lb back, Washington has nifty feet.
He’s not just a straight-line hammer.

- At least 9 carries in every game in 2025
- Averaged below 4.2 YPC only once in 2025

The floor is real. The movement skills raise the ceiling.

There’s a glide and way he keeps his head on a swivel while running that reminds me of Alvin Kamara…but with better size.

Also: 566 scrimmage yards + 4 TDs in his 4 games vs. ranked SEC opponents in 2025.

He showed up when it mattered.

Derrick Moore had 10 sacks last season at UM

Derrick Moore- 6’3 260- Athletic with power. He is so athletic and moves so well that Michigan routinely dropped him in coverage. Can rush with his hand in the dirt or 2 point. Quick first step and moves with power. Wins 2 ways with pure speed to the edge or over powers tackles

Really like TJ Parker. Think he fits our system well.. if we could get him in the 2nd that would be a steal

Serious power and speed to be able to do that

Ted Hurst 6’3” 207 out of GA State. Could be a Rd2 guy. Getting a lot of praise at practice

I agree. Like a lot of positions I think the value is in that 40-100 tier of players

Edge
OL
WR
DT

Wouldn't mind drafting 3 edge guys and hoping at least 2 hit, but still being happy with 1. 2 rookie edges on cheap contracts allows some extreme flexibility elsewhere with cap.

I wouldn't mind getting 2 receivers either and hoping at least 1 hits for the same reason.

We can fill in HB, LB, S, OG, and some other spots for much cheaper in FA than those positions. Hell a top edge alone would cost at least 3 of those positions.

Edit: I don't mean in the top 100 for all of them either. Take some late round flyers on 2 or 3 of them.

I don’t really pay much attention to these senior bowl drills which highly favor the edge guys. Zion Young has always been a very well respected process. Moore is a tweener and they have to figure out if he can really play with his hands in the dirt. But Dunker, this is the kid i really want. That is a mean nasty RG that will play in this league at an all pro level for a decade.
