Don’t want him at 8. If you miss Reese, Bailey, Styles go with Lemon for your high floor safe pick.

I'm kind of leaning here, too.

In an honest moment, there's a decent chance that the Saints could really be picking who they have on their board at the top 1 or 2 spots with the 8th pick of the draft.

Bend isn’t only valuable with speed though. Plenty of edge rushers have good bend and not elite speed.

None of them have sub optimal arm length but this is about his bend and speed

Also he was not a speed rusher.

I don’t think Bain wins much different than Suggs does huh

David Bailey is one of the highest graded pass rushers ever in PFF’s college history

But yeah tell us more about his lack of bend

At the end of the day, is PFF grade will have very little consideration by teams drafting him.

you're probably looking at

60% physical attributes
20% college production
20% makeup

His size (251lbs) will be more of an issue with team's than lack of bend, but the lack of bend is also very noteworthy.

Bain, Bailey or Downs/Delane and if they’re not there it’s probably Lemon.

I probably rank those:

Bailey
Downs
Lemon
Delane
Bain

But I would be happy if we get any of those 5.

20% on college production seems absurdly low.

there are outliers when it comes athleticism, but all good NFL players are good/great athletes. Not all good NFL players had great college production.

Read it a few times, hope that makes sense to you.

Saints held a private workout with UGA WR Zachariah Branch. Which included some punt return work.

Wonder if we can get him at 73? I honestly just want more weapons for Shough.

Don't need too. Be snarky all you want but I disagree with your break down of the percentiles given. Read it again.

Only WR in draft to average more than 3 yards per route run vs both man and zone. Led P4 in first downs. Had 500+ YAC and 20+ missed tackles forced.

The list of WRs that have stacked all that together in college is short and substantial. Same category as Chase, Ceedee, JSN, etc.

I'm taking makai lemon over Carnell tate all day. 8 seems a little high but if someone like the rams drafted him at 13 you would kick yourself.

I don't love being at pick 8 in this draft. To me you will miss out on some of the top defensive guys and then it's a little too early to draft some of these receivers.

If I don't get one of the top defensive guys I'm hoping someone wants to trade up.
