Has Brees altered the space-time continuum and now ages at a faster rate than every other human being on this planet? Interdasting.

Saints just seem like a totally lost and desperate franchise at this point.

If by lost, you mean star-studded, and desperate, you mean horny (I mean, it's a team full of men, they've got to be horny) then yes, you are truly correct.

Now to be serious.

... a average, at best, RB

I'm not saying he's the next Emmitt Smith or anything, but he's a pretty solid runner. At least Emmitt had a killer offensive line cleaving through defensive lines. What has Ingram had? Two guys that won't be in the NFL in a year or two. A pretty decent Right Tackle, meathead A/B at center, and polar contrasting performances between two guys at LT. I don't see, given how crappy our line has played, how you can't call his performance over the last year and a half at least "above average".

HC whose act has grown stale.

Now this is the only point of your entire rambling argument that actually has any value. It could be argued that Sean Payton's ability to call the offense has been seriously checked the last two seasons. This year, and even last year with the odd road losses, that he has had issues getting his team motivated and focused on the games ahead.

Next time structure your arguments better instead of appearing like a complete jackass.

Whats this star wars sh!t?
Find the quote of who said that.

And also "find the hope"?

We are going by what we have seen with our eyes the last 1 1/2 year. There is no "hoping" as you say. Just be the RB we SAW and let CSP work him into the screen game more.

Most have been comments about the money not being that high.
Not about MI being the savior and the skies the limit player of the franchise. Thats been all you. Congrats on setting up a false premise then arguing over it.

I didn't think Ingram's contract was a big contract. I thought it was a good signing by NO actually - which makes me sad. I was hoping y'all had paid more in the 6-8 mil range to be honest.

Typical. I'm really over the "let's hate Ingram because he's a Bama RB!" train. The guy has been money for 1.5 seasons now for us. He is worth this deal.

Nailed it. Everyone I hear bitch about Ingram just happens to be a LSU fan. Every other Saints fan seems to be happy with the signing.

Aaron Wilson ?@RavensInsider 2m2 minutes ago Mark Ingram Saints deal: four years, $16M, $7.6M guaranteed, $3.6M sign bonus, salaries $1M, $3M, $3M, $4M, annual $100,000 workout bonus

So does that mean his cap hit this year is $1.9 (which is pretty close to the $1.7 we save by cutting PT)? Also, gotta love the RavensInsider breaking this over our own local guys. IIRC, this guy has also broken a few other minor things with the Saints before our local media.

I don't know what he was going to get on the open market, but I would have to believe that this is a great get by the Saints.

4year - $16m, with $7.6m guaranteed and $4m yearly average is considered To be a big contract? And we "loaded up" Ingram to a big contract...

You serious?

We have contracts WAYYY worse than Ingrams. And we got Ingram at a good price for us.

And this is coming for an Ingram "hater".
