Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Odell Beckham are arguably better kind of easily. Might have an argument for AJ Green or Keenan Allen, but that's a little sketchier.

Probably true but I'd like to see what AJ Green could do with a better QB.

As far as Julio, yeah I think he's definitely a top 5 player. He's a matchup nightmare for most teams and can shift games with a big play at any moment. Matty Melt isn't always the most consistent QB especially on deep throws but he can't really control that. Pair him up with someone like Aaron Rodgers though and he would probably be unstoppable.

I feel like it’s splitting hairs in the top 10, but he is definitely one of the first 10 that came to mind when I saw this list started weeks ago. I know he’s a Bama and Atlanta guy, so I can’t stand him as much as anyone here but there’s no denying his talent. Julio is a gamechanger

Two player tiers eh?

It’s close but I just think if you were starting a team today, you’d want Julio and AB over everybody else.

The closest any of the others have come to a dominant season is Nuk, with a 111 for 1500+ season.
AJ Green has never had a 100 reception season or a 1500 yard season.
Odell obviously has all the talent in the world, and is poised to have a 115 for 1600 year down the line. He just has to prove it.
As for MT, all you have to do is go to training camp to see how special he is. By the end, all eyes are on him.

AB and Julio have just shown that extra level of dominance. 1800+ yards in a season is hard to do. Literally only Jerry Rice and Calvin Johnson have done it. They’ve both tied for 2nd in single season receptions with 136. 136!
They aren’t just great. They are historic. They are transcendent. And they have sustained that excellence, and are on track for all time great records/numbers.

I think all the other guys are capable of being that dominant, but at some point you have to prove it.

Nah

Green has never had a season where he was a clear cut top 3 receiver that year.

Lol

AJ Green’s best yardage season would be Julio’s 4th best season

Julio has 29 more receptions and 841 more yards in 7 less games played than Green

He may not have an over the top season, but that 4 year stretch was definitely top 3 worthy.

Nearly 90 receptions, 1300 yards, and 10 tds a year.

I'd take that consistency over a flash in the pan season like Keenan allen

I would too especially considering Allen’s injury history.

I’d put him as the 2nd best WR, but I think people can make a case for Odell and Nuk ahead of him. They both score TDs. Julio’s redzone numbers are atrocious for how good he is, and he’s often inconsistent and leaves the field quite a bit.

Antonio is his own tier. No one else can touch what he’s done the last 5 years. His consistency is remarkable

No one who isn’t a QB is top 5

how many yards of those are against shitty Carolina defenses that inflate his numbers?

Since 2011 the Panther’s pass defense has had an average ranking of 16th in the league. And you also can’t forget that they play two of the pass heaviest teams in the league 4 times a year.

Also Julio has played pretty well in playoff games.

Green has been in a division with the Cleveland Browns his entire career. What a weird straw grasp

Based on what NFL GM's value at that position (height and forty time) yes, he is still a top 5 player.

Only thing that would possibly keep him out of top 3 to 5 at his position would be injuries or age. Now top 5 in the whole league? Nah.

You could make the argument, dude's a freak as an athlete and satisfies all the measurables he's like Megatron as a receiver it's literally insane

Is this case based off stats, accolades, attributes, etc.? Those are all great receivers just I don't think any receiver compares with the overall strength, athleticism, size and production of one Julio Jones. IMO it's really hard to make a credible case that Julio isn't top 5 at his position much less NFL player dude's just too freakish and prolific.
