Can't prove you wrong. If another playoff team plays the Saints and out-scores them, the Saints will lose the game.

Remember "teams that went 0-3 in the last 3 weeks of the season have never won a SB"?

LINK

Just one example.

Check out here, great reads from the "sky is falling" people.

Some of your worries are warranted, but your synopsis about other teams playing better is just wrong.

Reality is out of every team we have just a good, if not the best chance to win it all. We'll be highly favored in each playoff game, and probably the SB too if we make it.

I like our chances.

We may lose, we may win. We have homefield advantage throughout which gives us a bye and a better shot than anyone else in the playoffs. My guess is we beat the Rams by 3 In the NFC Championship in the Dome and you continue to post moronic and stupid posts for the rest of ur existence and think it’s groundbreaking and thoughtful. We have done the work to give us the best shot to get to the Super Bowl. Hopefully it works out, if it doesn’t it’s still been a hell of a season.

I hate to say it but if they come up against the hot team the Saints are going to be one-and-done

In 2009, the Super Bowl year for the Saints, they were 13-3. This year they're 13-3. In 2009 they lost to Tampa Bay, Dallas and Carolina. This year the three losses were Tampa Bay, Dallas and Carolina. The final touchdown that the Saints scored in the regular season, the last touchdown of the Carolina game last night, gave the Saints 504 points on the year. 504.

I'm not superstition but the Saints winning the Super Bowl this year is destiny. In 09 they beat the Colts and Peyton Manning, a dynasty team and the best of his era. This year they'll beat the Patriots and Tom Brady. A dynasty team and the 'best' of his era.

Either that or like in 09 when they beat the league MVP in the Super Bowl, they'll see the Kansas City Chiefs and beat this years MVP in the Super Bowl, Patrick Mahomes. Once again showing that Drew Brees > an MVP award. Drew will retire with all the passing records in a passing league without a single MVP his entire career forever relegating NFL MVP to a pointless and forgettable award.

You are all over the place. You just said they would be one and done if they played a “hot” team, then you said its destiny that we’ll win the super bowl

So?

I'm Jekyll and Hyde like this football team.

I believe either is possible. Destiny is what I want to happen, one and done to a hot team is what I think is totally plausible.

Saints are averaging like 31 points a game at home and the playoffs are a different animal. We are the favorites for a reason.

Lol

Our defense was damn good on a brutal road stretch. Our offense was unhealthy and worn down. And we still managed to win those games. Then a huge challenge at home vs a top 3-4 at the time Steelers offense.

That Steelers game felt like a playoff game and if we can win that game, we can win any of them. Their record is not indicative of their talent.

This team is dangerous when healthy and at home.

You lack chest.

In 2009 we lost 3 in a row and were the coldest team heading into the playoffs. We won the SB.

The "hot team" bullshite is bullshite.

Edit:
Just read the link josh336 posted and wow. I knew the "hot team" rhetoric was bullshite, but not THAT bullshite.

You actually don't want to be hot heading in.
