For those that pay more attention, what’s the deal with Keon Coleman in Buffalo? I can’t think of anything negative I’ve seen about him in the news, but now that McDermott is out there’s a lot of talk about the GM not wanting him.

I think Pride posted something on the MSB about how he has real trouble separating from defenders and not making the right cuts. That was before he was a healthy scratch.
Not sure what it would take to get him, but I’d take him on his rookie contract for our 5th or maybe conditional 4th.

Dude sucks and is inconsistent as hell. Only problem is he thinks he’s fantastic. Guy had a horrible separation score last I checked and that was the big knock on him coming out.

Bills gm got a lot of criticism in the media for not making a move like Seattle did to get Shaheed or Jax to get Myers at the deadline.
Supposedly the coach told the gm and owner during the season, they didn’t have enough pieces on offense to get to the superbowl.
So of course he gets fired after they don’t make it, and they are trying to save face for the Coleman draft pick.
Cooks was getting way more throws in the playoffs than he should have.

I recalled that was how he made his living at FSU (I didn't pay attention to him at his 1st college), and obviously I remember his name from living in the endzone against LSU (was it 3 or 4?).
I figured he'd check a lot of the boxes for the type of player you don't want around a rebuild, or a young QB. But had to ask because of course all Saints social media pages have sort of connection to him because LA born WR may be available.

It’s not the GM didn’t want him. He wanted him, but had different player rated higher, but coaches pushed for Coleman

I pull for him to figure things out, because he is from the same area that I am from.
BUT the absolute lack of development with Joe Brady there is not a good sign. There were a lot of reports back in the day of how Brady was CRUCIAL to the development of Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson.
