I could see Kansas City starting to hop into the hosting rotation once they build their dome stadium in Kansas tbh.

Cleveland in February sounds amazing haha

Been done in Detroit twice and New York hosted outdoors! Just wait till Chicago gets act together on a new stadium.

Just realizing the Super Bowl will likely be on the 3rd Sunday of February from now on if they move to an 18 game schedule with 2 bye weeks as planned. That would put it smack dab on Mardis Gras weekend in 2031. Don't see how that's do-able.

People can hate on NOLA all they want, but every NFLer raves about NOLA as a host city.

There is a reason NOLA has hosted 11 Super Bowls.

There is a high probability of warm weather in late January/early February. The stadium, which has as roof, is centrally located in the city to most of the hotels and the entertainment area (unlike Miami, LA, Pheonix, etc). Tourism is a big aspect of the city and, for all of the things NOLA does poorly, large crowd control generally isn't one of them.

Outside of maybe Las Vegas, NOLA is the only host city where a fan could stay, eat, drink, party, and attend the game without having to leave a roughly 10-15 block radius

frick off negative Nancy. You can't be positive about anything. Always negative shot when it comes to new orleans.

The most ironic statement in the history of this site.

I've never once seen you have an actual opinion.

All you post is negative shite.

This.

I’m a decent nega-NOLA but I admit the (complete) list of things we can do well-

(In no particular order)

1) Super Bowls
2) Mardi Gras
3) Sugar Bowls
4) Conventions
5) Concerts/Festivals
6) Tourism
7) Food/Restaurants

I hear ya, but Dallas is easy to get in and out of, lots of hotel rooms, and lots of stuff to do.

What is there “to do” that people can’t get anywhere else? Look at a bunch of headquarters?

I hope New Orleans wins the bid for 2031.

It isn't even really a bidding process anymore. Now when they invite you to bid you are pretty much guaranteed to be awarded the game.

I never said that stuff couldn't be done anywhere else - just said there are a lot of things to do in DFW, which is true. I mean, if all you can come up with for DFW is, "look at a bunch of headquarters", then that's just sad.
