From a cap perspective, OT. Let Armstead walk, slide Ram, draft a RT. Trevor Penning, Charles Cross, Bernhard Raimann, maybe the kid from A&M if they see him as a T

WR is deep, grab one at 49.

I want a Qb. I think Matt Corral is the only one worth trading up for

I could see them telling themselves that MT coming back solves the WR problem (which it mostly does) and deciding they can find a WR2 in later rounds

I don’t know. That’s a massive gamble on a guy that’s barely played in 2 years. I just feel like we need several offensive players that can break things open and actually scare defenses.

Everyone you've heard mentioned in every mock draft, other than Sam Howell.

You act like it is a regular thing. Are we supposed to carry two starting quarterbacks?

It’ll be a guard or center project no one has ever heard of.

If Trevor Penning is available at 18, the Saints have to take him as the replacement to Terron Armstead at left tackle, which would enable Ryan Ramczyk to remain at his all-pro position at right tackle.

Much like Terron Armstead, though not from a big-time university, Penning out of Northern Iowa is an incredible athlete for his size with excellent speed. The Saints should then either take the best WR available in the second round or trade up to get the WR they rate as a first rounder that has fallen into the second round.

Is Armstead a free agent? I can’t remember, but if he is we should probably draft an offensive tackle. Not the sexiest pick I know….. but I wouldn’t really want to resign him with how he always seems to miss games. And our salary cap situation is terrible. We have to start getting away from some of our debts and let these players go

QBs, LTs, and stud CBs are the hardest players to find. We will draft one of those 3 positions.

Teams get desperate for QB. There will be at least one trade up to snag one. 3, maybe even 4 of the QBs will be picked ahead of us, so one the tackles or the lock down corner from Washington will be available.

Definitely wouldn’t be against CB if the value is there, but I feel like the staff is real high on Paulson Adebo.

Well Saints fill needs in FA first.

But with the lack of quality depth at WR and oline you could see those two positions dominate our picks in the first four rounds.

Great year for trade down in first if some team is itching for a QB. I will predict a never before seen trade down in the first round for the what...12 year in a row?

Maybe DA breaks the trend. Lots of quality at the two positions we need most WR and oline.
