i think everyone has noticed that we have one of the worst defenses ever the last few years. You arent improving that passing up on solid front 7 talent to pick an OT that prob wont start this year and a safety that probably wont start. Not sure of you noticed, but this may be the last year we have with a hof qb.... we may not have another decent qb for a decade.

another one that gets it.... some of y'all need to take the black and gold glasses off, seriously... we are wasting the little time left with Brees... and then after him, who knows what the frick we'll have... but to have a known commodity and not give him a complimentary set on the other side the ball is just pathetic...

Does anyone think it's a coincidence that we brought a bunch of 2nd/3rd round DE's in for visits. They know who they want.

It just doesn't make sense with the value that was on the board for the front seven. They had their pick on who they wanted in front seven. I can't imagine they're super different from all the mocks out there. This is the second pick you have to wonder if they'll even play a lot this year. We already have 3 S. Only way I see it making sense is if Bone said above we're playing 3 S sets or Bell is a straight up bust...which isn't encouraging seeing as he was a 2nd last year.

Lol that people think Williams isn't going to be a starter.

He is.

I think our next 2 picks are DE & an the top rated offensive player on the board.

Could they like Onyemata's progress??

If they are willing to trade back into 2nd, go ahead and do it and get who you want. Don't wait til a run on the position starts, it'll be too late

Yeah but who expected some of these guys to fall like they did. Cunningham had a late 1 to early 2 round grade. That's a value pick

I would have rather have had Cunningham, but I like Williams.

He's a playmaker in the secondary.

Our targets were:

CB
DE
OT
LB
S
QB

HB was a priority before we snagged AD.

Overwhelming value can get you off of your targets.

But so far we've stayed on path and you can expect at least one of DE, QB, or LB in the third, if not two positions. Depends on if high value, non target position players fall.

I'm sure the Eagles are licking their chops thinking about 2021.

Could be. Payton said they drafted him to play end, and he ain't taking Jordan's spot.

I imagine a rotation of him in big sets, and Kik, Okafor, and a draft pick to rush will comprise the other spot.
