Peat is going to be great for years.

absolutely agree... but we could have gotten Marcus Peters, Shaq Thompson, or Byron Jones instead... we could have helped our defense then, and went T later in that draft....

Our main competition is Atlanta. They throw to their backs more than anyone. Cunningham is the answer

add in the fact that Carolina just got McCaffery and Samuel, and they'll be throwing underneath a lot now too...

So will Tampa, with Howard and Brate...

That freak TE from that no-name school everybody was excited about was taken a few picks ago. I've liked our picks so far, and I know everybody is freaking out about taking a DE, but we absolutely have to draft somebody to catch the ball next year. Say what you will about Cooks, Ted Ginn is not, replacing his production.

Cunningham, Willis and Williams still on the board. That should tell us all something.

1) Media evaluations don't equal professional evaluations.
2) Don't fall in love with players from mock drafts.

you are correct.. he's here to replace his role... take the top off the defense and let Drew work underneath to Snead and Thomas, along with Fleener and Hill... those guys are going to replace Cooks' production....

Cunningham is a guy that needs a lot of technical work

Willis is a stiff hipped guy who doesn't flash

Tim Williams is a one down player who has off-the-field issues

That being said. Cunningham is going soon.

Yep. Most of the guys people on here wanted at 32 are still on the board. The Saints made the right picks imo.

You mean the Saints Board experts don't know as much as they think they do?

He ran a 4.56 official time according to the nfl.com draft profile.

Preach. Saints could move up IF they wanted one. Could just wait, though.

Doubt anyone will.. I don't think deep threat is a priority right now. We've got possession guys, and trying to build the line to help the run.

Hold the ball, limit the other team's possessions. Stop trying to outscore them.

1st DE just went. Walker is kind of a 3-4 DE though.

Dline just needing one top shelf pass rusher, but the depth is more than great.

S we were very thin before signing Bush, but this is an older Bush and we still needed a legit 3rd/4th. I still like Harris too.

CB is so very hard to project because of all the serious injuries last year. It's deep if everyone come back healthy. But like DE we needed a top shelf guy.

Must have been his pro day. Pro days are typically faster so that would make sense

I hope Basham falls to 76 or 103.

I'd love if we went DE at 76 and 103.
