I assume you are only referencing CONUS.
Sand and water quality are on par with Lanikai (my favorite beach on Oahu), and superior to any beaches I’ve seen on Kauai. Now the scenery is much better on the islands. I can’t speak for the Big Island or Maui.

30A is poorly defined
What does this even mean? 30A is exactly that, a road named 30A in South Walton County, Florida.

My issue is, and it's been 10 years since I've been there, the 10 couples with kids renting a single house to keep the cost down. 25-30 people right next door. I've never been back.

It’s not this at all lol

Looks nice there but the sand and water are just as pretty in Destin.
Anyone saying that the Florida Gulf Coast doesn't have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world hasn't been to many beaches.

It's a 7 bedroom 4K sq ft multi million dollar property built specifically to house large groups.

The tannins and seaweed are bad right now though.

We call it all Santa Rosa beach.

Still not nicer than North Beach though.

But people complain the beaches in Destin are lined with high-rises where in these other areas is all single family homes and not towering monstrosities.

Exactly why we go to 30A over Destin.
Regardless of what people say, it’s much less trashy than Destin.

I'm sure it's some of that, but I think it's overstated. People take family vacations to 30A because it's one of the best family beach vacation spots in the US (and beyond, candidly). It's entirely created and sustained for that purpose. It's got the nicest options for accommodations of pretty much any domestic beach destination, it's clean, it's aesthetically pleasant in a way most beach towns/areas are not, the beaches themselves are excellent, and the food/retail is solid enough.
It is, unfortunately, increasingly overrun. It's way too popular and congested in peak periods. But that hasn't completely negated any of the above, especially if you can avoid those times. I'll admit I don't see it getting better and I expect it'll get increasingly difficult to avoid. Candidly we've explored/are exploring other domestic options for the long term, but I don't think we'll give up on it anytime soon.

I think the part that irks people is the fact that a lot of people who vacation there think they’re in the the same caliber of folks who own properties there.

You can fly to Cancun and rent a house on the beach in Puerto Morelos for 1/2 the cost of 30A. We've done that and won't ever go back to the crowds at 30A.
