Dear Cousins, Hope this will find you all well. We are quite well but mother has awful lame knees. It is awful cold here. I just finished my history lesson and am going to bed pretty soon. My father is shaving and my mother is telling me your address. I will have to close for a night. Hope grandma and grandpa are well. Don't forget to write us - Roy get his pants fixed yet."
Can someone please give us a good Parody 2020 style of this. Should be entertaining.

I bet it was sent via Sears and Roebuck Prime and was supposed to arrive in 2 days.

This kid probably died never learning the outcome of Roy's pants repair. Kind of sad.

so 100 years from now, our great grand kids will find out who won the 2020 presidential mail in election.

pretty sure this is a push at best these days.
Depends on how you drive. An automatic is still going to have more drivetrain power loss than a standard transmission, no matter how advanced simply due to the two designs.
Again, there's a reason why DCTs are a thing.
If you're talking a CVT, then you're probably correct. But who actually likes driving a CVT?

Fuel economy, able to stay in your preferred powerband, and no loss of power from the torque converter off the top of my head.

Was this from Biden’s first election?

Paddle shifters took care of the power loss in a torque converter?
Interesting.
And paddle shifters on an automatic is like training wheels on a tricycle.
Try using paddle shifters on a real transmission instead of a slushomatic.

But they still can’t drive a stick.
According to a study, as of 2016 only around 18% of Americans could drive a manual so that's not really some sort of 'gotcha' thing.

Grew up driving a stick shift and using my grandparent's rotary phone.
Once again, Millennials are getting old my dudes.

cursive writing.
what is this?
I recently wrote out a check and one of my business partners son was standing by my desk. As I wrote out the amount line in cursive the thirteen year old exclaimed:
"Holy Crap! That is cool! It's like the writing on the Declaration of Independence."
I had ZERO idea until that moment that they no longer teach cursive in grade school.

Good to hear. I've been waiting 25 years for pictures from my ex-wife when I was in the Marines... only 75 more to go!

It cost 0.02 cents in 1920.
It costs .55 cents currently to mail a letter.
Even if the 100 y/o letter was lodged in a crack in a post-office wall and just found, how does it get sent out if it doesn't have the correct postage.
Return to sender would have been the play, if this were true.

Imagine all the Trump votes they're going to find 100 years from now that didn't make it for the election.
