Lets see,
Hunting groups
Fishing groups
Small engine repair groups
Home improvement groups
Fly tying groups
Black panther groups
Bigfoot groups
marketplace
Etc
I don't use my real name on facebook and I have zero FB friends. I like the groups.
I need to activate my old account with my name to post pictures of deer i killed. I kind of want to show those off.

Outside of marketing purposes for certain jobs I don’t understand why anyone over the age of 25 needs a social media account like facebook at all.
Men should be working, exercising, caring for their family, and training to fight and sitting alone in a dark room when not doing one of those 4 activities

"Need" is obviously being thrown around loosely here. It's not a need but it certainly makes alot of things easier

Agreed- market place.
You can buy anything. I like to restore old motorcycles.
My account is fake . I have to get my wife to contact them when I’m wanting to buy.
My work self and home self are two different people. I have also been known to tell the truth even when it hurts too often.

Give me one good reason a married man needs to have a Facebook account? Needing to ‘keep in touch with people’ is not a reason. That’s what phones are for. And……GO!
Buying skid steer attachments for a fraction of what they're worth from desperate sellers on Marketplace.
Any other questions?

I have a large family and we have a group on there. Also, the neighborhood group as well.

I only use it to troll my mother’s Facebook account and for “groups”.
My mother is one of those who always does huge posts fishing for likes. I always comment snarky things like “looks like baby Billy is smelling his diaper in that picture.” A lot of my mother’s friends have told me I’m their favorite part of her posts.
As for the groups. I’m a part of some hobby groups. Some art groups, etc.

You give me one good reason why a real man needs to concern himself with whether grown men need a Facebook and then I’ll consider answering your questions.

I remember when the OT had posters who had a schtick that was at least entertaining and funny. Now we get this moron, TigrBaintn, El Gaucho, TDs and 225tyga.
All wannabe Tulane LSU. He at least puts effort into his threads.

This. I have come around a bit on FB. I used to hate it, but it is actually useful for things previously mentioned here. But I mainly use it to see people I know and be able to keep up with them without having to put in the time to reach out. Same thing with family I don't get to see often.
It's cool to see friends I had in HS that I've lost touch with and what they're up to these days. Or watch their kids grow up via pictures. It's also a good way for those same friends/family to see my kids and what they're accomplishing, up to, etc.
FB is really the only social media that I have/use (outside of snapchat, which I basically only use to talk to my stepdaughter at her preference). But although I certainly don't "need" it, I find it is fairly useful at times.

No adult male needs a Facebook account. No reason at all. I waited a while to delete my account years ago because I couldn't figure out how to download all of my pictures. Once I did that, the account was gone and I haven't missed it one bit.

No reason a straight male in a happy relationship needs FB.
What does someone's relationship status have to do with Facebook use?
I use it because of various collector groups where information is exchanged.
It also enables me to keep up with news from my little hometown.

With the government job I have, employees all across the country are members of a fb group which allows newbies to get questions answered in real time, rather than trying to phone or email someone who may or may not have the correct answer to resolve an issue.
